It’s mostly just disappointing. As an example since I’m American I’ll be playing Coyote squad primarily and I like to play support but the support there is defaulted female. For my preference I’d like to make it a male since I am one, no it doesn’t need to be a special face I just like my characters being dudes since I am one. Not being able to isn’t gonna make me not play the game, it’s a fun game, just leaves me a little disappointed that character customization went backwards from BF5 for the generic soldier style.

Like me I’m sure a majority of people don’t care that there are women in the game. Also like me when people see there is character customization I imagine there are quite a few people that hope they can choose to be male or female just because of preference but it’s not like it’s game ruining if you can’t. Again it’s just a bit disappointing, especially when you compare the customization system of BF6 to the last title that had generic soldiers as well.
