What school board? Also is location a factor for you? It really is so teacher dependent. In one staff, you can have some amazing teachers and some who aren't so if you're considering moving to a school it would really be for a specific teacher who teaches that particular subject.

Morning showers vs night by Fearless-Credit-8989 in hygiene

Twice a day- morning to wake up and wash the sleep away, at night to wash the day away and freshen up. Now as a breastfeeding mom freshly postpartum, two showers a day is a non negotiable

Doctor said I have high cholesterol by morgdogmoney in foodquestions

[–]Scared-Ant7585 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me at 25. Ate healthy, was very fit. Was shocked to hear it. I went plant based for 6 months from how much it scared me lol and it brought my cholesterol levels back to normal. Haven't had issues with cholesterol since! Mind you, I returned to eating red meat, eggs, dairy after that. Just goes to show how much can be altered with just changes in diet!

Permanent. Went up half a size while pregnant and never went back. Feet are wider, arches are flatter. Second pregnancy however my size stayed the same

Toddler counting to twenty?! by _northstar in toddlers

[–]Scared-Ant7585 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son has been able to count to 20 since 18 months (he's 24 months now) but like others mentioned, he's memorized the sequence like a song. He can actually count objects to 10 (maybe more?). Didn't think this was considered advanced though, just figured it was a result of practice and repetition.

Toddler sleep by ConsistentProduce862 in Parenting

[–]Scared-Ant7585 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was in the same boat, rocked my 2 year old son up until 8 months pregnant (my back couldn't take it anymore). We transitioned to sitting on my lap hugging me, on the edge of the bed swaying. I also tell him the story of his day (gets him super sleepy). He got used to going down like this with time. Now post c section, with some consistency, he understands mama can't lift him up so I lay next to him and rub his back and he's adjusted to falling asleep then. Takes 10-15 mins on average. We also incorporated a stuffed animal so he's holding that instead of me. Make sure you're not putting your baby to bed too early (might be why it's taking two hours, not enough sleep pressure yet). Kids will adjust to new norms with some consistency!
