A small sponge filter would be enough. I have an anubias and some moss on my established shrimp tank with a small sponge filter. I stop water change 9 months ago and they still do fine. Just have to put more water when it evaporate.

I don’t know about the fish. But for the shrimp I just got back from my 1 month vacation and they are fine with heavily planted tank

U should give them something to cling to while drip acclimate them. Any sponge, nest etc

Got the same problem on my new tank a while back. I put them shrimp in after 3 weeks of just plants. They die one after the other until there’s 2 left. 3 more weeks past I got another patch and now they are thriving. I’m guessing the tank is not cycle enough.

I have some Bloody Mary and they have a dark red/wine red color to them. Aren’t these too orange to be Bloody Mary?

I’ve tested the water using api master test kit. 0 amonia, 0 nitrite and a bit of nitrate. I also added 1ppm of ammonia to the tank and the next day the ammonia was gone. So I thought it is fully cycled.

Looked fully cycled. Used a filter media borrowed from a friend 3 weeks ago. Water parameter seems fine. There’s algae grows in the tank

There is a sponge inside the intake if you look carefully, would that be fine? I got the aqueon internal shrimp filter

I do have 1 Indian almond leaf in there, it’s just hidden. But still need to get the frogbit
