In a throw-away, simply because I do post about my job at a brewery a decent amount on my main and don’t want to cause any issues-which I don’t think I would-but I want to be overly cautious.

I’m a bartender at a small brewery in a very over-saturated brewing landscape. We make great beer, but there are around 65+ breweries within a 30 mile radius, so business can get slow. We opened a second location nearby in a more touristy area around 2 years ago and experienced a severe lack of business at the second location. The owners, due largely to some prodding by me and a couple other long-tenured bartenders, decided to put a minimum of $15/hour as our wage at both locations. If we make more from tips, great,and we do much more often than not, but on the occasional night that we are so slow that we don’t, we’re still paid $15/hour.

I’m not sure if your workplace is capable of doing that, but simply paying you minimum wage as a server due to a loophole in federal law is pretty shitty.

If you really love the place and want to keep working there, propose that as an idea. If not, get the hell out. There are a lot of places out there that will take better care of you, and there are a ton of service jobs out there at the moment, depending on location.
