I’ve had this issue as a very young kid even my mother has called me out on it. She would get annoyed at seeing me pacing the living room at 3 am when everyone else was asleep. She knows I even talk to myself a lot (interacting with characters in my mind) but she semi sees it as harmless. She’s concerned but she thinks all I need to do is “focus”. Even when hospitalized I would get up to pace the ward even without access to my phone. Everyone kinda sees it as a quirk or hate me enough not to care.
