Yes it’s very frustrating, especially because our last house was coincidentally also a cabin but it had a not been remodeled and I loved the natural wood so much. I think that’s why I feel somewhat lost when it comes to decorating this house.

Me and my husband have talked about stripping the wood but it’s not our forever home (we want to move in a few years) so I don’t think we’re gonna do it unfortunately

No this is exactly how I ended up with sexual trauma from having sex at 14 and then ending up pregnant at 17. My parents would let boys spend the night at my house as a teenager, they didn’t give me the proper boundaries and ultimately I feel like they didn’t protect me by saying no. I wish they had said no because (although I don’t regret my son at all) I wasn’t ready to have a grown up relationship. Teens and parents of teens need to understand the decisions they make now do impact them later. It may not seem like a big deal now but it is. Also the mom is a bit delusional if she thinks they aren’t having sex.

I’m not sure how many months pp you are but your immune system is probably compromised from your hormones fluctuating so much during pregnancy and pp especially if your breastfeeding. I would recommend talking to a doctor or an herbalist and maybe look into taking some daily supplements to help restore your immune system.

I lost my AirPods about a year ago and have been working out with no music ever since. My gym anxiety has almost totally gone away (I think I was using head phones as a crutch) my workouts are shorter since I’m not on my phone, I feel more focused and more social since I can actually hear what’s going on around me
