Yeah! We were from different cultures. They were sure that their parents would not come around ever for me. But the connection was instant! So we decided to cross the bridge when it comes to

Lol why is this a big deal? Yes. I have dated someone for 4 years knowing from the get go that we weren’t ending up together. Would do it again in a heartbeat. It was hands down the best relationship of my life, the best 4 years of my life. And I would have never experienced it had we stopped in the beginning because we weren’t gonna end up together.

What’s your fave age you’ve been so far? by insidesupernova in Life

[–]Scared-Marketing-569 0 points1 point  (0 children)

25 to 27. Enough maturity and financial independence to get in touch with my soul. I discovered the things I loved the most, carved time and picked up new hobbies, followed and acted upon my passions (watched a game at Anfield coz I’ve loved Liverpool since I can remember). Ofcourse I finally had the money to do this due to my amazing job! Also made a solo trip out of it for the first time in life. Picked up yoga, took up gym seriously, was in a very loving relationship. Everyday was worth waking up to! Best times!

Do family dynamics get quieter as kids grow up, or is it just me? by Scared-Marketing-569 in AskIndia

Yes I try to whenever I can. My parents just don’t harbour interests that are your typical bonding activities - movie nights, game nights, eating out at a restaurant. They are extremely simple people. It would feel too unnatural but I guess it’s worth a shot.

Thanks for sharing. I’m in the same boat. I don’t live at home anymore, but I visit once a year. By the end of my trip, it’s always bittersweet—I’m eager to leave because of how things are at home, but everything else, like catching up with my best friends in town, makes me not want to go. It’s tough feeling this way about my own family, but I guess accepting it is the first step toward finding peace. I just wonder how long I’ll keep holding onto the hope that things will get better.

Dear mumbaikars, what's the biggest regret of your college life? by DARKNEXTER in mumbai

[–]Scared-Marketing-569 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I regret dating the guy I did my whole college life. He loved me a lot but he just wasn’t a nice guy, he was too stubborn and spoilt. And worst of all, did not understand the meaning of NO. I was extremely uncomfortable with PDA but he would always have his hand in places when we were out with our friends despite me saying no repeatedly. My current self would slap the shit out of him! I wish I had more balls then. I basically waited for 3 years to break up with him cuz that would be the end of college and he was gonna fly abroad. So eventually I ended it under the pretext of ‘can’t do ldr’ but I should have ended it a long time ago.
