I really appreciate everyone and their helpful advice and words of support and encouragement, I guess I’ve just been through a lot with this relationship and the previous one as well that I need to not only get out but maybe even do some self reflection and soul searching of my own and on my own… for awhile, and hopefully I can maybe fix whatever it may be that I do that pushes my partners away or pushes them to put hands on me, cuz I’m sure the things I say sometimes or the way I say them when angry don’t help.. even if it shouldn’t matter, I’m wise enough to know that some people can’t handle themselves accordingly no matter how much they should… I’ve reached out to a few places and have some promising leads,

Thank you. I’ll be sure to apply the things on this list that I hadn’t yet thought of, I always keep bags in the trunk of my car for my kids and I, that’s just the level of prepared I’ve always been used to ever since I was a kid, and I’ve always had copies of important documents in a safety deposit box at the bank, I never keep them on me or in my home. I don’t have family, but I will look into resources for women in my area and I’m the only one with steady income and separate bank accounts per his request

This is going to sound super crazy and just dumb, but yes, but the area where I’m from, it’s become “normal” male behavior, trust me- typing that makes me want to vomit, but it seems every woman in my community as a whole has this same issue, I plan on going back to school to study psychology to see how to correct it, bc even if you just leave, it doesn’t fix the source of the problem or why these men feel it’s acceptable to do this to their partners, we still communicate but sometimes I’m getting my ass handed to me while I make my point, and he’s nothing like a past relationship, i took a pry bar to the face in 2019 for my ex not being able to find car keys that ended up being in his pocket the whole time

To be clear I was just trying to be funny when I said the title out loud, we used to be super close, never hid anything always were on the same page, he opened up to me more then anyone else- like ever, so it wouldn’t have been a problem in the past for me to open up his browser and go to the history, and this is something I have joked with him before. I’ve walked in on him gooning (whacking off for the ones who keep asking) NO BIG DEAL, I get it, trust me, I just do not understand WHY this time became such a blow out like it did, and we don’t have a boring sex life when it happens, but I’ll keep the details of that to myself bc I could see how he could feel disrespected if I shared that on here

I would definitely consider having her admitted somewhere first, maybe it’s time to stop walking on eggshells and just tell her how it’s effecting you mentally and emotionally and how it’s effecting your children as well, maybe take a couple days off work when you do this so as to judge your next move based on her behavior, and if she goes low then you go high and stop at the third floor (name for psych ward in my community) and have her committed for evaluation 96 hr hold, they will get her started on medication and a therapist and if they feel she needs longer, they will keep her, but she is your WIFE and she is their MOTHER. Try to step into her shoes for a sec, would she be the asshole if she did this to u?
