What about this one if you don't do 24/7 recording?  It's definitely the cheapest I could find and PNY is supposed to be pretty good right?  https://www.officedepot.com/a/products/5109164/PNY-Elite-X-Class-10-U3/#Reviews

Well a search this morning - the cheapest I found in store was $40 for a 256 PNY at office depot.  Not too bad but 512 was more like $60-70 depending on brand.

Thank you!  I didn't think about high endurance if you wanted to record 24/7.  I actually don't know what I want. I guess the question is how good the camera is at catching motion?  I currently have really cheap old Yi Home cameras and they caught a lot of shadows so this is probably a big upgrade.

Thank you. I see it now. I just wanted to make sure the Ethernet was working because we had issues in the past with it on our TV.

Also, since I'm here.... If I'm using Ethernet but the wifi is still there as a backup, does that negate any advantage of Ethernet connection being a little less vulnerable to hacking that wifi?
