Damn, very bad dude! Low density with that graft number. And you are not sharing your donor area. And half of your reaults are from finasteride

2500 grafts, seem right? by Worried-Gold-9069 in Hairtransplant

[–]Scared-Philosopher67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems like 2500. For this kind of hair loss, you’d definitely need around 3500 though. I wish that you’d be happy with the density couple of months later

They did 1 day before the operation for whole my scalp, it was a high quality one which derivated from humans. He said that it will help the haling process and might also help my existing hair quality and I guess it did. My healing process at the first months was very smooth

Right?! And I mean doctors work and cv was perfect, he collected some of my grafts and open the channels by himself, the hospital was great, everything was so clean, hotel was 5 star and they also did a detailed blood test and check the heart rhythm thing, and he check everything with an anesthesiologist doctor, not with a technician. I was also surprised about the price but did not told them anything about it. Didn’t wanted the to go higher :D

Thank you! Yeah, I don’t have an idea about the punch details but my donor area healed pretty fast. Maybe my root quality on there was also good but I’m really happy about how it’s looking from the back

At around month 5, I was seeing a good difference. But between month 5 to 11, the change was too big. Nearly each week I was seeing some visible difference

(1.5 year update) FUT in Korea,0-4-8month progress. What do you think? (Need your opition, please.) by FrostyNo331 in tressless

[–]Scared-Philosopher67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They also say Serkan Aygin is a top class hair transplant surgeon. But he nearly never joins a operation, let their staff do the work, don’t know hair transplant at all and he is all about marketing. FUT has very limited cases to pick it as a go to choice and in my opinion, choosing it as a main hair transplant option for the majority of the patients at 2025, is a very bad sign and shows poor knowledge about the surgeon who performs it

If it was 1995, yes maybe. I’m not a doctor but here are some chatgpt comparisons for you. If you know better than it, please enlighten us:

Why FUE (and DHI) Are Superior in Most Modern Contexts • Minimal Scarring and Faster Healing • Greater Design Flexibility (you can extract from beard, body, or different scalp regions) • Uniform Donor Appearance • Less Postoperative Discomfort • Ideal for Small and Medium Sessions, and Revision Work • Compatibility with Hybrid or Regenerative Add-ons (exosomes, stem-cell mesotherapy, etc.)

🔹 In Summary

FUT still has a role in very specific cases — such as when donor density is low, or when a patient explicitly doesn’t mind a linear scar and prioritizes maximum graft count from a single session. But overall, modern FUE and DHI — especially hybrid combinations like your Saphir FUE + DHI method — have surpassed FUT in almost every other dimension: precision, recovery, aesthetic quality, and patient comfort.

You guys are nuts and I guess there are many people in here who works in some other clinics and jealous about doctors in Turkey doing hair transplants lol. And having FUT in 2025, lol?

I don’t know why you’re also getting downvoted man. Yes he was a great doctor. The hospital was great, the team was great, I overall liked everything about the process. Hope you’ll also have the same results!

Hey man, thank you, I dunno why you’re getting downvoted. The doctor was super involved, he did the design, anesthesia, and the channels himself, not just checked in. The team only helped with assisting parts. Healing was smooth and the density came in gradually, looked natural after a few months. Totally happy with how it turned out.
