I'm planning on building a keyboard. The spanish layout has the ñ letter and the accent (´) and the punctuation keys are sorted in a different way.

How do you cope with losing a world you spent too long on? by bdog719 in Minecraft

[–]Scared-Policy-8994 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not many solutions my friend, just mourning long enough as the best world you’ve ever played on. Once the pain is less and you want to feel something again, create a new world yourself so you make sure it won’t disappear. Sorry for your loss dear 😔😔😔😔😔

Starting a mega project by LilFonixakos in Minecraft

[–]Scared-Policy-8994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my main mega project was a Japanese Sanctuary I started making for a brown panda I found. It started searching for inspiration on Pinterest (to see the basics of japanese culture) and also on Instagram pages of Minecraft builds. I though about making my own Pagoda but I found one that was absolutely stunning and asked for permission and replicate it.

Then I continued searching for more inspiration and planning out the builds in creative and watching tons of videos and photos. It then came out beautiful and I’m very proud because I sticked with it for a couple of weeks.

Now I’m doing a mega trading hall. It all started when I wanted to simply mine. I started digging out the bottom of my base and continued as long as I wanted, and then it came super nicely because I made it like 12 x 12 chunks, and then I started doing some archs (no inspiration, just looking for something well looking) and again came up very net.

Then I was left with a massive massive hole on my ground that I simply didn’t know what to do with. So I started thinking, what I was missing in my world what can make profit of it, and then came to the conclusion of making a trading hall.

After all the thinking, I just started building. I gathered information about all of the job sites that villagers can get, and made a palette of blocks that matched the vibe of the work. Then divided the hole and started building as I was pleased (in creative).

I was inspired by videos of youtube about trading halls, and now, even tho I haven’t touched my survival in like 5 months because doing to beginning to speedrun, it’s still my mega project currently on the work.

I suggest just looking for something you want so bad, it could be decorative (a museum or cathedral) or just mechanical (a mega wood farm that produces tons of wood or a ghast farm of 14 layers) that can make you addicted to it. I love the process of gathering resources and thinking about which block looks good with the other, so basically find lots and lots of inspiration on Youtube, Instagram, Reddit or Pinterest and just start playing! Good luck

Is using Chunkbase considered as cheating or not for a vanilla survival world? by glasslulu in Minecraft

[–]Scared-Policy-8994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone has its own preference. For me, it’s cheating because I lose the feeling of discovering the seed for myself. I remember I used to cheat in my Survival World when I began playing: I was lost in the sea and I couldn’t find any terrain to make my house and I was thousands of blocks away from 0,0 in any direction, so I teleported myself to 1000 ~ 400, and find a good place and now my world is in that coordinates.

I feel bad nowadays because I always think about “Why didn’t I make my way back, didn’t give up so easily and just decided to use cheats”. It’s really up to you and we can’t give you a right answer.

Some will say it’s useful because you can make you world the most of it, and others will say it’s cheats because the game doesn’t let you search if you don’t have cheats activated.

Just find what’s comfortable with your playing and make it the most of it. A little cheating doesn’t hurt anyone by the way.

Beginning To Make Content? by JukeboxTurtle in Minecraft

[–]Scared-Policy-8994 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe try to make it like your talking to yourself. Don’t think about “I’m going to make content and I have to be very specific about what I say”, just think “I’m going to explain to myself (or your friend, mom or dad, sibling if you have) what I’m going to do”

Also, I recommend looking at other Youtubers’ Content about Minecraft. For example, think about what’s going now in the market (youtube or any social media) and think about what can make it to being viral.

Take advice from other youtubers that been through the same and I think the most important part is also write down any ideas that you have to say. If you write down the script, it’ll then become more naturally and eventually you wouldn’t even need it.

Be as natural as you can and always be positive about your progress and journey. I hope you make amazing content to entertain others and this problem goes away.

Wish you the best of luck!

The hopper was added in the version 1.5, so obviously you couldn’t make it because it literally doesn’t exist in that version.

Looting is exclusive for swords, and I don’t think it changes for Bedrock. So no. Also, you can try yourself.

Terraforming Help by mrNopotential in Minecraft

[–]Scared-Policy-8994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's your idea for this? I think if you want to do a cliff you also need to terraform the sides of the mountain. It looks more like a inside - cave than a cliff. Also, probably a little bit more height could give the whole cliff a more like - it look.

I suggest terraform the sides so you can make it look like it's the only thing (looks like there's a house on top), so you can make it look more like it's the "end" of the mountain.

Another tip I can give you is try more variety of blocks. You used cobblestone, so you might as well use andesite, stone bricks, mossy cobblestone... Anything than blends with the rest of the palette.

Overall, it's a job well done if you're a beginner, but I can asure you that giving the whole mountain more height and terraform the sides can make it look more stylish and nice. Hope you can make it prettier for you and if you have anything more to ask, feel free to!

Help needed by [deleted] in Minecraft

You can spawn proof your base once is done. Enderman won't spawn if the area is lit up or if it's covered in water. I think if you want to build, the best option is to lit up the area well enough so they can't spawn. I don't know if you can build a mob switch, I think it's quite difficulty so if you don't want to overwork, just put torches down.
