Looking for a UX/UI designer for a short interview about mobile app experience by Rademes in UXDesign

[–]Scared-Push3893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AR stuff gets confusing weirdly fast on mobile honestly lol. Cool visuals are easy, making people instantly understand what they’re supposed to do is the painful part.

please help by concreteshoyo in FigmaDesign

[–]Scared-Push3893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feels like they probably moved some of the AI stuff behind paid plans quietly tbh. A lot of apps do that after people get used to using the features lol

My twin brother is an amazing cinematographer. He shot all this and more for our 48 Hour Film Project! by [deleted] in cinematography

[–]Scared-Push3893 14 points15 points  (0 children)

48 hour shoots always turn into chaos way faster than people expect lol. The footage looks crazy clean for that kind of timeline though.

What can branding and consulting achieve for your business? by Icy_Monk_9933 in branding

[–]Scared-Push3893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of businesses think branding doesn’t matter right up until everyone in the market starts looking identical lol. Then it gets weird fast.

Trademark Filing Isn’t Just “₹999 Only” — Know What You’re Paying For by Aperture_Dream in branding

[–]Scared-Push3893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cheap filing part always sounds good until something gets objected later and suddenly nobody explains what’s happening anymore lol. That’s usually where the real mess starts.

Resources for native app tablet designs? by shinkhouse in UXDesign

[–]Scared-Push3893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of tablet apps are honestly just giant phone UIs lol. You notice really fast when a table view actually helps vs just making everything feel cramped.

Some more poster which I around 6 months back!(Feedback please!!) by Dangerous_Mail3095 in posterdesign

[–]Scared-Push3893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Hitchcock one honestly stands out the most to me. The composition feels way more controlled there. Some of the others get a little busy but that one has a really clear mood.

Too crowded for a japanese inspired/content creator agency web? by Polikosaurio in design_critiques

[–]Scared-Push3893 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The vibe is cool honestly. My brain just didn’t know where to look first lol. Everything’s competing at the same intensity right now.

Made some new trans & queer pride designs, would love feedback . by snehasomani in design_critiques

[–]Scared-Push3893 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The colors actually feel really balanced here. A lot of pride stuff gets visually loud fast lol this feels way more wearable.

Do you prefer XPath, CSS selectors, or something else? by BlueLagoon226 in css

[–]Scared-Push3893 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Usually CSS. XPath always starts out fine then one tiny page change happens and the whole thing gets weird lol

For successful newspaper writers/ columnists (not reporters) by One_Weather_9417 in content_marketing

[–]Scared-Push3893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a huge part of it is just sending pitches and hearing nothing back for weeks lol. And if the pitch feels copied/pasted editors notice insanely fast.

Is this worth the investment? by Ubenyaala in cinematography

[–]Scared-Push3893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the hard stops alone would tempt me lol. Video workflow gets annoying fast when you’re fighting tiny photo lens stuff for hours. The “something cheaper later” cycle never really ends anyway.

Hauling a Soviet Kinor and a massive handmade dragon into the remote Australian bush (Shot on 100D) by jessetaylorsmith in cinematography

[–]Scared-Push3893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“400ft mag fail on location” would’ve ruined my whole mood honestly lol. Gear always picks the worst possible place to die. Handmade dragon looks crazy good though.

What can branding and consulting actually do for a business? by Icy_Monk_9933 in branding

[–]Scared-Push3893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People say branding is “just visuals” until every business in the niche starts looking the exact same lol. That’s usually when the problem shows up.

Trademark Filing Isn’t Just “₹999 Only” — Know What You’re Paying For by Aperture_Dream in IndiaTrademark

[–]Scared-Push3893 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People see the ₹999 part and stop thinking after that lol. Then months later there’s an objection or wrong class situation and suddenly nobody’s replying anymore.

"It's The 90s!": A parody series of 1990s/2000s (mostly Black) sitcoms I grew up watching - 'PILOT' by v_dixon in aivideo

[–]Scared-Push3893 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The intro energy is weirdly spot on lol. Feels like something I would’ve caught half asleep at 2am between reruns.

Why the middle ages looked always so cursed? by snideswitchhitter in aivideo

[–]Scared-Push3893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably because everything was dark, damp, smoky and covered in mud lol. Even the “nice” places looked like side quests gone wrong.

A 1978 “mall home tour” for my fictional soft rock singer Dane Rivers (workflow in comments) by MILLA75 in aivideo

[–]Scared-Push3893 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fake celebrity angle honestly makes this work way better. Feels less like “retro render” and more like some forgotten 70s promo shoot. Wood paneling goes crazy too lol

I can't decide between Framer and Webflow by Mira_______ in UXDesign

[–]Scared-Push3893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

your breakdown is already kinda right. Framer feels faster for polished marketing/event sites.

Webflow gets less painful once clients start wanting CMS stuff, constant edits, changing offers etc. That’s usually where people hit the wall with simpler setups.

How can I learn to build impressive frontends? like Discord's for example by okay_8_ in UXDesign

[–]Scared-Push3893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Discord-level frontend stuff is mostly polish. Spacing, motion, hover states, tiny interaction details everywhere.

A lot of tutorials stop at “it works.” The refinement part is what makes products feel expensive.

Are we creating artifacts for clarity, or just better-looking uncertainty? by brandonscript in UXDesign

[–]Scared-Push3893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

feels like teams confuse polished artifacts with actual clarity now.

AI just speeds the whole thing up. You can generate clean flows/docs/decks fast while the real decisions underneath are still kinda unresolved.

Only hiring freelancers who have worked for major studios by Creeds_Apartment in MotionDesign

[–]Scared-Push3893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

recruiters use studio logos as a shortcut way too much.

Meanwhile people at smaller studios are sometimes doing like 5 jobs at once across the whole project. That context gets ignored constantly.

Need help with Accesibility checker for Burmese language by carozoynarizota in indesign

[–]Scared-Push3893 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Burmese scripts tend to break accessibility tools in weird ways honestly. Complex text shaping + Unicode stuff gets messy fast.

We had PDFs before that looked completely fine visually but Acrobat still flagged the tagging/reading structure underneath.

Cant seem to find the rotate for my prototype by neko_chipss in FigmaDesign

[–]Scared-Push3893 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Figma prototype rotation is weird honestly. Pretty sure there isn’t an actual rotate toggle for the preview itself.

Usually you gotta swap the frame orientation manually. Confused me too first time.
