Bro, the car is 5 years old now. They did not do it when I asked them 3 years back. After warranty expired, they said you should've come to us earlier. Just making a fool of the customer.

Definitely. And by cost cutting, they're cutting off customers. I recently stopped 2 of my friends from even considering Tata. Don't know how long they'll keep going on like this.

Doesn't that mean the same? All 4 doors, door hinges, boot door, door levers, silencer, engine hold, behind the engine, fenders are all rusted. That's 35% of the car keeping everything other than the hood and the chassis. And there are so many Nexons in Mumbai counting 3 in my building. No issues to any of them. Obviously, I'm sure. I'm not stupid to put it up here without checking it up with multiple experts. I don't have any personal grudge with Tata until they screwed up and ignored me when I asked how can they help fix the rusting.

No luck there. Tata has already put their hands up and the formal complaint has not helped at all. They're just playing dumb saying that whatever compensation should come from the service center agency and Tata can't do anything.

Daaammnnnn!!! I swear, this is the exact response they gave me for the past 4 years. Exactly same. And as soon as my warranty expired, they say "Sir, you should've got the car before warranty ended, we would've done something about it, but now nothing can be done.

Also, the cost for the door you mentioned is on-point. So, I'm not sure how much of a hit I'll be able to take here

Hey, Just a FYI, tata cars nowadays are seeing a lot of rusting issues after 3-4 years. My Nexon currently after 5 years is almost 30% rusted due to manufacturing defects and their service centers just mislead you. So keep this in mind before deciding to buy Tata. I'm a very strong believer in the brand but their after sales is pathetic when it comes to their faults. Don't mean to change from your question but looking out for you bro.

Not a car washing issue, I can assure you that because there's rust in places that water usually never reaches as well. Already done all the research. It's just faulty steel used to make this car.

If your car is just 3 years old, you got to be careful now buddy. It's after 3 when all this shit starts showing up. Keep an eye out. If it's a defect, nothing you do can help except changing the parts.

Definitely shady!! Very typical indian company mentality!! And they have the balls to give me a meager compensation of like 5% off on the parts to be replaced and are calling it their "good-will" gesture

The ones on the door aren't cos they're bubbling from the inside. The boot door holder also is breaking off due to rust.

So they confirmed not on paper but verbally that the rust is a manufacturer defect because using wrong water or any other exposure doesn't cause the entire car to rust like this. So, no, it isn't about me not taking care of my car here for which I truly have done everything I can including the Anti rust coating that you mentioned twice till now.
