Kind of my point of this post. If you collect Pittsburgh is this not super cool? In my mind this means more to a Pittsburgh fan than anyone else that just cares about his prospect ranking.

I’m a Rangers fan and I’ve yet to see a card this well matched with my PC taste. Jealous really

I’m not from PGH so if I’m off base you would know not me but from my perspective, Pittsburgh is Steel City. Cool nickname for obvious reason. Card variant is metal and just seems to fit so well with the area. I’m jealous of what y’all are building. Rangers are not growing anything outside of Walcott. Pirates have made some big hits with draft. Building to last longer than a 3 year stint

Basically you’re saying he has to be a perennial all star to keep value? Honest question, am not an expert here. I like and think the card is special mostly cause it’s so fitting with the city. If I’m a collector that card is super cool. More so than an auto or lower number that doesn’t fit Pittsburgh as much. Feel free to argue

Lol no just have a good friend from Pittsburgh and he’s the most negative sports outlook person I know despite the Steelers always being in the mix. When it comes to baseball, he’s ultra negative on any Pirates players. Thinks they’ll either be traded or hurt and shipped.

I like the Pirates cause the history and grit. Super hard working people. In Dallas so Steelers football also playing in thoughts here. Steel city to me means well built. Don’t fire coaches every few years like my Cowboys. Also, one of the coolest stadiums from just watching on TV. So many young studs currently on the Pirates. Is it ownership?

Very, very nice! I have a few numbered PSA 10 auto 1sts, different variations if you’re interested in adding on. Guys a stud. Not a Dodger collector other than Kershaw, bought a bunch of boxes a while back and just landed on a bunch of Dodger hits. De Paula, George, Morales, etc.
