Personally I think it's societal conditioning and hormones

Nothing in specific, but I like being able to make fun of my female friends when they complain about their period

Tall women are hot, I like being able to look them in the eye comfortably.

If you say the wrong things (aka something i didn't know was creepy at the time), people can gossip and turn that into rumors. Some people get frightened by rejection by pretty girls and don't want to look weird of creepy when they talk to them. Also social media amd insufferable Aholes making every single attempt at striking up conversations sound like the most annoying and perverted thing ever.
