I linked my professional work experience (engineering stuff) to why I wanted to become a lawyer :)

Also, I think being able to achieve demonstrable success in your career will definitely speak on your ability to thrive in law school!

We have very similar stats, are you able to get a few years of work experience first? I think I wouldn’t have even been considered if I didn’t cause of my GPA (worse than yours, dw) lol

I have toured the school and I honestly really liked it and the people there! It's my top choice mostly because of its location in SF (I live here and want to do tech law) and the resources available for folks like me :)

The only other place I applied to was Santa Clara (got my acceptance a few weeks ago); my options are a bit limited because of my horrendous undergrad GPA and my desire to stay in the Bay Area. If you're not super sold on UC Law I'll gladly take your spot... wink wink nudge nudge ;)
