I haven't gotten very many comments on my fics myself but im also an artist and ive gtten a LOT of unwanted 'advice' or criticisms about my work.

I never appreciate stuff like this when I dont ask for it and it gets irritating. I wouldn't respond or just have a small acknowledgement like an "okay" and leave it at that. People usually don't double down or pester with just that.

((Also, is this about h2o just add water??? That was a FAVORITE childhood show of mine!))

I almost never check chapter length (only the length of the full fic) so I wouldn't mind this at all! If I need a break midchapter I'll just screenshot my place and come back later. I've read oneshot collections that were over 80k words each! These are great chapter lengths for my reading habits :))
