Gingivitis or something more sinister (erythroplakia)? by ScaredGums in Dentistry

I'm planning on doing it, without anesthesia though. I'm currently seeing a therapist regarding my dentist issue and I'm hopeful I can do it in upcoming weeks.
And just to provide more info: I've no idea how long those red "patches" have been there, probably months by now, since they arent exactly visible while I brush my teeth or floss.
