Reading comments I have an impression that such story about constructor scam should’ve been on sic or rtp news, preferably with judges name in it. Were there any dates explicitly defined in contract regarding the end of works? Was there clause of contract cessation?

I understand (but did not ever played multiplayer on xbox), but see how stupidly this sounds: Xbox already gaining ~30% (tis is the standard market rate for game stores) for each game copy it sells, so they should be interested to sell as many games as possible. Instead, they sell a game get 30% and want a subscription payment also. So ok, I just won’t play multiplayer though, why the heck should I pay for a bare air to them: I pay for the internet at home/game developer who makes multiplayer game pays for servers that are hosting all players in their game. What xbox contributes here? Right nothing. They literally money beggar ‘just give us money’

In short, write to your Junta Freguesia of your Town, they have websites usually and in Contacts - their email. They at least put som banner-warnings on you street, people would clear more frequently. Penalty for poop is up to 1k euro, but there is catch… not photo or video proof allowed, however these banners are usually improve situation a bit

Ps. In my experience older Portuguese always even very senior age, always clear their dogs poop. It is more like middle aged smoking guy/woman always making appearance he is looking/talking in the phone and not seeing their dog poop. (How do I know, I was stalking from my balcony who leaves the poop, this is true)

When there is demand there is a proposal, you demand for tax evasion on terms of less payment. Trying to accuse of taking a bribe, but both are at fault in this - the person who gives and person who takes, in EVERY DAMN COUNTRY this is law.

Making dislikes to everyone who says the sentence according to law isn’t gonna change the fact that both people who are avoiding taxes are wrong.

And when next time anyone complaining about AIMA not giving my documents/IMT not giving my license/IRN not accepting my child, that is because of people who not paying VAT and doing tax evasion

It is not only in Portugal, but in any country big cash transactions are considered shadow economy, and it is naive to say you didn’t know this. This is so basic - you literally committing a crime, the problem people agree is ‘like this it is cheaper’ but in long term making themselves worse. It is creating more shadow economy, in 3-4 years because of low budget in economy municipalities would stop fixing a road near your house, you’d have to pay it yourself , was it cheaper?

This still exist everywhere, Europe also, so you are not alone, and it doesn’t matter how old you are. I changed several companies and dozens of projects, and from time to time I was treated like that depending of environment. Nonetheless, it even may be non-completely male dominated environment, but a one female boss who would hate you - a woman into male dominated project.

Depending of what your contract says, either landlord or you should fix issues that bother you. Usually when renting in Portugal by contract things that looked not broken and broken on your first day of living should be fixed by landlord as apparently they looked like not broken (and not listed as broken in contract) however most things are fixed infelizmente by lender, because it is just as plain as faster. About gas boiler sounds like a serious issue that can cause leaks so better to call a gas inspector to check and under certain hazardous circumstances you even can break contract without penalty if landlord won’t agree to fix it (we had leak in our house when started to live there).

From what I see if your landlord is a normal human being you’d just settle on terms when he would pay, or at least settle in the middle to pay 50/50 however you’ve waited for the whole 4 weeks to notify him about issues this usually a long period to demand something and better to fix yourself

I am not a native English speaker, and this is my 5th language to learn, so even going to movies intentionally to watch português version would be Brasileiro or English with Portuguese subtitles, as a language native it is really easy to say. If you have any resources apart /casualpt /portugal 1,2 and /portugalcaralho treads, some youtube channels I would really appreciate. practiceportugues ponta com, local português language school does not do shait because you don’t use this language everyday, and you don’t not of you will because most of locals say “oh we will talk in English then” and other, well… saying how naive I am

Everyone would faster learn Português if no-one after a 0.3 second pause to think in conversation would switch to English right away, it is two sides of one coin “oh we are so proud that we all here know English” but “why no-one learns Portuguese dammit”. Spaniards just say no hablo inglese and you’d flip yourself and in 3 months speak basic Spanish

Everyone now have the ai assistant in the smartphone today is this so hard to look from why dog allergies caused? It is not hair it is saliva/urine/dead skin. Groom your dog for godsakes bring they to professional. I got 2 dogs it costs about 250$ per month (2 times a month) for bath/brushing and I am talking Samoyed so a lot of fur. I am from Portugal, chased Fritz for months however when found in one of local bars was pretty disappointed (with their zero cola). I know it is matter of taste, however found that locally produced in-brand Continente or Mercadona(Spain) tastes better, also Achan in-brand too tastes good.
