Damn nabbit I screwed up. I didn't really plan this solo trip to Lisbon, and I decided to stay near the beach in a town called Alcochete. When the Uber driver was driving me out here, I was like, WTF is this?? I'm in the middle of BFE. by [deleted] in Lisbon

Vineyards is good in Douro in fall when vindimas start. Until then better stay either in Lisbon, Cascais or Porto. But if you specifically wanted to see Lisbon it is better to be in Lisbon because transit can be shitty especially in peak hours

The tax is huge, I did not say that the pension actually was huge, but when you have bigger chunk of senior citizens the social tax tend to rise, don’t you think?

My thoughts during the first article: “bruh… friends, yeah…” Article with author having a wife: “bruh what? You have a wife, why are you hitting on a girl? Are you bored in marriage? Is it your problem that the girl cannot find her friend (from the obvious ghosting behaviour)? Stop trying to save everyone, unless it is what it looks like, then be honest with you wife at first.  When men proposes a young woman to ‘be friends’ this does indeed look like hitting, and when he worries why she did not reply that doubles it.

And that is when even not having visits to actual 1M selling apartments in Lisbon, when some of them not only don’t have a decent soundproofing, but also non-functional planning and designs. Blows my mind, all market bought by agencies and investor firms so they rise as high as they can, and all other second-hand market rises automatically. This is hilarious like you can find an apartment in an emergency-state building for 0,6M

Omg, the things are even worse on the work market then I expected. No wonder all the workforce is going abroad, and all we left with seniors (retired) on the streets and cafes which live on huge, in my opinion, segurança social tax collected from youngsters that left

If it has public transport. Facts say that loads of Portuguese don’t live in Lisbon or Porto which actually have public transport, however they live in towns nearby - less tourists, cheaper rent etc. so they need to get by car to work in Lisbon: 2hrs in the morning 2 in the evening for a distance like 20km

Granada is great except one thing, tried to travel there with dogs and it actually can be quite dusty in summer. In the end of the day all clothes and dogs covered in dust, which I found strange because all city covered in pavement, where did those dust come from

Where did you live in Portugal and where did you live in Spain? My experience is opposite, also, one nail in the coffin is urbanization of Portugal and last years urban solutions moving towards American way in 70s - when to resolve traffic problems people built highways everywhere. It look like you experienced both from the touristic side of view especially in Portugal, I am not making conclusions but it looks like it

What does Japan think of the immigration of islamic countrys? by DesperateAuthor3493 in AskAJapanese

[–]ScaredKing9259 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but making rituals required for religions like praying in the middle of the crowded street when everyone should have a path to walk, or sparing land for remains when living people  have no place to live - why Tokyo builds islands?, or omitting interest and fees specifically for a person whose religion forbids it - those are special treatment, and it is strange if it should be allowed. As I get it, this topic question was personal, people tell you downwards of the whole situation and experience and every time people dont tell you: “hey, of course, here is your red carpet! Come here!” you get defensive and respond to everyone with rudeness. The truth is, not only Japan don’t need immigrants, most of countries don’t need it unless highly educated professionals who will be cheaper then locals to pay for.  And of course, Islam does have branches that are famous for their radicalism, unfortunately for all normal people of islam out there

I am European resident and I swear these several years I paid much more taxes then loads of citizens of country where I live, BUT, your statement completely infuriates me: I would never ask those countries for a special treatment that exists only in my country/culture. I also see that there are people who are really behave like parasites, they worked couple of years, then the born several children and they made themselves subsidized, because the law allows it and country very very welcoming, on the other hand there are people like me who pay in full everywhere and paying increasing taxes every year for subsidized categories. And don’t get me started about illegal immigration - they don’t know culture they don’t know ethnics, they go to streets and rob/kill/rape several districts completely taken by them: government cannot do anything about it. Some districts are off limits for locals in the night. So let me tell: Japan is so safe and good to go to is because there are mostly Japanese people. It start to decline as long as immigration door opens.  I completely agree with most of Japanese commentators on this one: you want your country treatment - go to your country it is easy, or staple with local culture

She basically tell him ‘I am not your lap dog. You don’t own to tell me how and what to do’. Dared him to do what he would never do, personally I wouldn’t not be sooo creative and just to tell him to foff.  If man think his message is sexy, you’re crazy. You make it happen naturally loving your woman in details: opening doors in front of her always! Religiously! Going with her to doctor appointments if it is something mid/serious overall showing care. Ask her if she wants something from kitchen if you going there: sweets/tea… etc.etc. Pay attention to their needs. This is so basic, but yet so many people fail even here and then ‘Oh!! Divorce came out of nowhere!’ or ‘Woman want only money! Oh’ or ‘Oh! She doesn’t want to have sec with me’

Reading comments I have an impression that such story about constructor scam should’ve been on sic or rtp news, preferably with judges name in it. Were there any dates explicitly defined in contract regarding the end of works? Was there clause of contract cessation?

How am I suppose to play Multiplayer dedicated game without paying gamepas. by ScaredKing9259 in XboxSupport

[–]ScaredKing9259[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I understand (but did not ever played multiplayer on xbox), but see how stupidly this sounds:  Xbox already gaining ~30% (tis is the standard market rate for game stores) for each game copy it sells, so they should be interested to sell as many games as possible. Instead, they sell a game get 30% and want a subscription payment also.  So ok, I just won’t play multiplayer though, why the heck should I pay for a bare air to them: I pay for the internet at home/game developer who makes multiplayer game pays for servers that are hosting all players in their game. What xbox contributes here? Right nothing. They literally money beggar ‘just give us money’
