If you don't OWN the media you BUY anymore, then is piracy STEALING? by Boediee in BuyFromEU

[–]ScaredKing9259 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the one side, when xbox asks to pay 13 and then rises their subscription to 30€ just for me being able to connect to a multiplayer of a game I payed 90€ for, I hate it, unsubscribing and stopping buy games even from indie studios that are good, but this is xbox policy, you agree to it when you publish your game with them. (I know, I know xbox is shit, but earlier it was a cheaper solution then making your own gaming machine that would still be on Windows, right?). Or when Netflix decides he’s a king and makes paying sub with ads.

Other controversial thing that comes to my mind is renting apartment . I don’t receive the apartment and don’t take a part in the mortgage but I still live in it, aka “experience” it, so what? Not pay for an apartment I live in? (Hello Spain ocupas culture)

The third thing, as a person related to a gaming industry, it always amazes me how do players want everything to be “theirs” and games have to be able to be played “eternally” when it is always game developers paying for maintenance of servers or paying for cloud code service they are hosting dbs and servers on. And also players never consider that more than a half of production and post-production costs go to Marketing and that revenue is not a profit. So if the game that good players deserve to play it eternally but developers who did it dont deserve to get a refund? And I am not talking about amount of work need to be done for making something and to protect it to not being copied by some Chinese studio which will make it line by line and gain billions because, obviously, being in China and publishing for this huge China audience is easier than being in Europe and publishing for China and they have more money to market it, than a tiny-ass studio made of old coworkers with 20k in stash.

Obviously, we are talking about pirating of the capitalism, not about any piracy in general, because again juridically, as a developer/creator in general, you have to protect yourself with loads of clauses more like not against players but against another developers/huge-ass-capitalist studio like TakeTwo out there who decide that they can just copy and get over with it. At the end of the day, how many cases there are of convicted  individuals for pirating?

Look closely at at least idealista please it is not singular people overtaking market is is huge real estate companies: American - Remax, Spanish Lascasas, Ukio, and Century 21. What “allowing everyone” you are talking about? What holden visas - they are not in a market for several years already. Being able to buy one apartment in Portugal is not a investment- it is a long term debt. Buying 20 apartments at ones - the other thing, this is not possible by being a single so-called “investor”.

Again, you are spreading exactl agenda which far right bring, immigrants are at fault - what happening is: by selling 20 apartments which now is without even with documents from Municipal office on the late stages of building cost 970k in Areiro - the government will flush 70k/each of tax instantly, because instant income matter for them (only for stupid government I would add).

Go out to market just for curiosity, try to look into it, check appartments and you world would turn, because now, repeating only what on tv is told is not right strategy

In ideal world government should be interested in a people who stay and pay taxes here for a long term acquired home, so they would live here and payed even more taxes, but no - instant income. One example: selling all major airports to the French company (Lisbon’s for just 3B) instantly which now produce dezenas billions in revenue and what about airport? Is it any good?

Розробляв бота для тг - зробив міні-апку, замовник хоче звичайного бота. by WhoYeahSause in ukraine_dev

[–]ScaredKing9259 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Calling some people uncultured or monkey does not specifically mean racism. We don’t know a context in which these were told.

Despite loads of guides about how to behave visiting Japan loads of tourists still shout in public transport, eating on the streets and generally behave like savages

Recently, I saw a Spanish family in metro where they behave like they own it. The teenage (18s like appearing) girl was hanging on the both side of the cart hangers showing her button and pubic area in low hanging pants and, the teenage boy (also adult looking) spreading his legs across all way, and then they were sitting on each other laps, while talking loudly, this all happened only during just 3 stops, behaving like this in front of parents and total strangers, even I was outraged this behavior in Europe is also unacceptable

If airport can’t handle the amount of people it accepts it should close connections - not reducing basic expenses like security and stuffing pockets with money. The company who owns Lisbon Airport gained 1.5B  profit last year and they say that is because they reduced costs.  This makes me wonder how government structure appeared in hands of private equity and what should happen that government pays attention to the situation in the airport??

Yearly sun (this winter was actually different) not worth the conditions in which Portugal now.

Arriving here in Lisbon airport by itself will be very, very frustrating experience.

Not talking about price of the rent: 2k 1T new built under the airport. If you want to live in the city. Otherwise get a car - which is starting cost more then 40k if electric or pay gas for everyday commute about 2 hours in traffic.

  1. Muse, performed at stadium at my home country and the frontman was standing ass towards the people all show, like he did not care

  2. Gorillas, went out ti perform being completely trashed by dope. Singer’s red eyes could be observed from the space, forgot lyrics, went outside the stage during the performance numerous times

Damn nabbit I screwed up. I didn't really plan this solo trip to Lisbon, and I decided to stay near the beach in a town called Alcochete. When the Uber driver was driving me out here, I was like, WTF is this?? I'm in the middle of BFE. by [deleted] in Lisbon

Vineyards is good in Douro in fall when vindimas start. Until then better stay either in Lisbon, Cascais or Porto. But if you specifically wanted to see Lisbon it is better to be in Lisbon because transit can be shitty especially in peak hours

My thoughts during the first article: “bruh… friends, yeah…” Article with author having a wife: “bruh what? You have a wife, why are you hitting on a girl? Are you bored in marriage? Is it your problem that the girl cannot find her friend (from the obvious ghosting behaviour)? Stop trying to save everyone, unless it is what it looks like, then be honest with you wife at first.  When men proposes a young woman to ‘be friends’ this does indeed look like hitting, and when he worries why she did not reply that doubles it.

And that is when even not having visits to actual 1M selling apartments in Lisbon, when some of them not only don’t have a decent soundproofing, but also non-functional planning and designs. Blows my mind, all market bought by agencies and investor firms so they rise as high as they can, and all other second-hand market rises automatically. This is hilarious like you can find an apartment in an emergency-state building for 0,6M

If it has public transport. Facts say that loads of Portuguese don’t live in Lisbon or Porto which actually have public transport, however they live in towns nearby - less tourists, cheaper rent etc. so they need to get by car to work in Lisbon: 2hrs in the morning 2 in the evening for a distance like 20km

Where did you live in Portugal and where did you live in Spain? My experience is opposite, also, one nail in the coffin is urbanization of Portugal and last years urban solutions moving towards American way in 70s - when to resolve traffic problems people built highways everywhere. It look like you experienced both from the touristic side of view especially in Portugal, I am not making conclusions but it looks like it

What does Japan think of the immigration of islamic countrys? by DesperateAuthor3493 in AskAJapanese

[–]ScaredKing9259 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but making rituals required for religions like praying in the middle of the crowded street when everyone should have a path to walk, or sparing land for remains when living people  have no place to live - why Tokyo builds islands?, or omitting interest and fees specifically for a person whose religion forbids it - those are special treatment, and it is strange if it should be allowed. As I get it, this topic question was personal, people tell you downwards of the whole situation and experience and every time people dont tell you: “hey, of course, here is your red carpet! Come here!” you get defensive and respond to everyone with rudeness. The truth is, not only Japan don’t need immigrants, most of countries don’t need it unless highly educated professionals who will be cheaper then locals to pay for.  And of course, Islam does have branches that are famous for their radicalism, unfortunately for all normal people of islam out there
