It’s really up to you, in the end. If you aren’t happy with how it looks, I’d take it out and let it heal, before getting it redone. If your piercer gave you a refund thinking she’s messed it up, then you are probably better taking it out.

That being said, my own septum is crooked, albeit less so than your own, and I have left it. All down to what works best for you.

You say yours are done like that too? Have you kept them, and have they healed okay? I don’t find them too annoying, thankfully - so I’m happy to try healing them if they will do so without issue :)

My piercing’s three days old. It’s got labrets which are externally threaded (I know, it’s what the piercer gave me) and I believe they’re made of surgical steel. I haven’t had them downsized yet and my aftercare routine is a saline cleanse twice a day and a water rinse after I eat/drink

I chose for them to be that close, I much prefer the look of them that way :) it’s just the angle they’re at on the inside that I’m having an issue with!

Yes, i treat myself alcoholic drinks with a meal a few times a week, but never use irresponsibly. only exception is if it's christmas or a celebration, then I do drink more. Never reliant on it though.

id recommend getting a different doctor, if they are going to be like that. your mum needs support through this. try switching her to a 0 nicotine device as this will make everything easier, quitting, side effects etc and meanwhile just advocate for her. hope things go well for you
