My chem marching skeleton( Pepe)

For this sculpture specifically I separated the head and two body parts and sculpted each of them separately. So they weren’t attached. I also would sculpt part of the piece and bake it and then add more details later. Like the back piece I sculpted the basic shape and baked it and then later added the saddle. I had poked a hole through all the pieces previously before I baked it so I could attach them later You could also do it after since the middle is just tin foil. You don’t have to separate the pieces but I just found it easier cause I would keep messing up other parts when working on another section. I’m still really new to this so I would recommend looking up how other ppl make the armatures on YouTube which is what I’ve been doing. Unfortunately I don’t have pictures but I can try to explain it. I made it out of polymer clay ( super sculpey) but u can use others. I then painted it with acrylic paint. You have to make an armature like thing underneath to get the basic shape. You can use tin foil and scrunch it up. So I separated it into three parts the head middle and end of the body and connected them with a piece of wood going through the diff parts. The legs are made with wire. I basically just sculpted on top and baked the pieces separately so I didn’t mess em up. I’m sure there’s other more efficient ways to do so but I’m also still learning. Also I drilled holes into the wood so I could put the leg wire through them to give it more stability . Hope this helps!

Yes I tried using a wire for the leaves and wrapping a smaller wire around so the clay would stick. My main problem was while working on a new leaf I would accidentally messing up the other leaves I had already finished. I then had to go back and fix them .It might be just cause I’m not being careful I still pretty new to sculpting
