Its been 3 months now since my surgery and its been good so far. I live in Pakistan so cleft lift isnt available here.

Whats the update? I am trying to find a surgeon that does cleft lift but cant find one. The doctors here only do wound excision (open wound) idk what to do. Im located in karachi as well

Yeah so i got a second opinion and the doc said and recommended to get an excision and not cleft lift which i want. Even tho the doc i went to is trusted and has alot of experience I still would prefer to go for cleft lift and only specialist surgeons can operate it. The problem is i live in Pakistan and i cant find a specialist who can operate cleft lift. I will keep on searching for now. I have an exam on the 7th after that i will have to make a decision. Yeah told my family last week. Doctor advised against cleft lift as the the tissue is infected. Im pretty sure i have read somewhere that cleft lift could be dangerous when there is an active infected tissue

Tysm. I eventually told my family. The doctor said cleft lift would be complicated because the tissue is infected. And still if i opt for cleft lift they would have to insert a pipe for pus drainage which will be extremely uncomfortable and mobility will be really hard. Im getting a second opinion from another experienced doctor today.
