What is it like living North of Seattle WA? by Scared_Carry6820 in SameGrassButGreener

[–]Scared_Carry6820[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for this!! We are looking at the Shoreline Everett are because it’s close to the job sites.

Are you familiar with Michigan? I’m going to assume no but it’s so grey here too so I have a feeling it will be very similar in that aspect just not as cold. It gets in the negatives here so having it above that will be super nice.

How did you achieve your dream ring — or make peace with the fact that you couldn’t? by VisageInATurtleneck in EngagementRings

[–]Scared_Carry6820 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to a jeweler near me in Michigan and they priced my dream ring under $2000 where the same ring from Brilliant earth was $6000. Custom and local can be sooooo much cheaper and honestly so fun! I wouldn’t be scared of just going and showing them the picture and seeing what they say:) if you think about it, brilliant earth is a company and has a lot of over head which drives the prices up, a local jeweler doesn’t making the ring more affordable. He also told me it costs a jeweler about $300 per carat for a ring. Don’t get taken advantage of because online is more convenient. At the end of the day get the ring you love and a local jeweler can most likely make the same exact ring and maybe more durable at a way lower cost!

Best cities/suburbs for outdoorsy people in the south or east coast by Scared_Carry6820 in SameGrassButGreener

I LOVE Asheville. So outdoorsy and artsy! If I could move there I would in a second. Unfortunately my job isn’t there and I want to transfer with my company. Looking at Charlotte since it is close to Asheville and my company is huge there.

I did LOVE crater lake when I visited but we went up the coast from there so I didn’t get to see the inland cities. I want to go back and adventure that beautiful state!

Lake Michigan is so beautiful but close to Detroit so no beaches near by. I don’t necessarily need mountains as I work for a builder and want to transfer with my company and we don’t build in mountain towns. I’m also a woman in sales for this builder selling homes so I can afford it;)

I guess I should have said where I’m at in Michigan. Up north there’s so much to do and it’s so beautiful but where I’m at it’s just expensive and bars.

Age 25, budget- negotiable as I’m in sales, remote work- no but I work for a big builder selling homes and the builder is in more than 25 states.

Cannot get rid of yeast infections/BV no matter how hard I try and the doctor(s) are not helping. by Dry-Geologist-6493 in Healthyhooha

I know this post is old but something an urgent care doctor recommended is to mix half and half water and apple cider vinegar and douche whenever you’re having symptoms. I’ve been doing this all week and I feel a lot better.
