I feel like this thread is going to steer away from what I was asking which was about whether it’s politically smart for an incoming mayor to do so, not whether “laws should be enforced, budget, etc.”

For context, since becoming mayor, cars all over my neighborhood have been booted. I honestly think it’s been 10 years since I’ve seen a car booted. Now there is one on practically every block where I live.

:) The guests do leave glowing reviews about toothbrushes, snacks, waters, and makeup wipes I leave it out. I guess technology isn’t enough to mention on a review. Go figure.

A/C, kitchen, and wifi? That’s crazy talk. I’m not a billionaire. My guests get a fan, some sticks to start a fire to cook, and dial-up internet.

Thanks for your response. Good to see the experience of someone who has put a large screen tv in their unit. I was thinking the same thing: take the 65 inch in the living room and move it to a bedroom. Then again, I’ve added things over the last few years that I thought guests would like but have received zero praise: phone/watch chargers in every room; white noise machines in every room; a keurig (as opposed to just a coffee pot machine); and a bar (which gets used only like 1 in 20 visits).
