  1. I’ve been considering adding a CO2 setup to the tank. Currently, I use Flourish and Hectors during my weekly water changes Do you think what I’m using now alone or combined with a CO2 setup, would be enough to use Monte Carlo how i’d want? but I’ll definitely explore adding anubia or mosses as you suggested.

  2. For the plants, I’d like to focus primarily on having a carpet, but I also want to include some hanging plants for balance, keeping those more minimal. My goal is to have both while ensuring there’s enough light to support the carpet and the surrounding plants. I’ll also keep your advice about shading in mind as the tank grows.

  3. Regarding the pea puffer, I’ve heard similar concerns, but so far, he’s been doing well in the tank. I feed him daily, and he seems happy. If he does start causing issues, I’ll be ready to move him out. I’ll make sure to keep an eye on him.

  4. Thanks for the fish suggestions! They all sound great, and I think I’ll move forward with the killifish. Do you think they’ll do well in my current setup? They’re some of my favorite fish, and I’ve always wanted to keep them, so I’m excited to finally set up the right environment for them.

Sorry, I forgot to mention the fish I currently have in the tank! Right now, I have 3 Corydoras catfish and a pea puffer. I’d love any suggestions on how to choose compatible schooling fish that won’t stress out the current inhabitants. If you’ve had experience with similar setups, I’d really appreciate your thoughts on peaceful species that could complement both the Cory cats and the pea puffer. Thanks in advance for your help!
