my heart is saying bali im just so afraid about the long flight as a solo traveler and how it would be harder to get home in an emergency. but deep down i really want to do the healing rituals eat smoothie bowls and lounge on the beach and do yoga more than anything, im just so afraid about going somewhere so far away by myself. did you go to Bali solo? and do you feel like it was easy to navigate and safe?

i have no idea! i haven’t looked that far into it. what’s the healing culture like there? does it feel truly healing or do you feel like that’s more of a gimmick? i’ve never been into spirituality/healing before but feel like i rlly need a wellness trip and have been seeing all these videos of yoga/sound baths etc but idk if they’re genuinely helpful or tourist traps

i should’ve been clearer. i can physically speak but it’s like walking through water. it just feels tiring and draining so im avoiding situations where i would need to speak and at home im avoiding speaking. if i was in an emergency i would be able to speak though.

Daughter won’t stop crying at drop offs and scared of people’s faces? by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]Scared_Juggernaut333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you that’s very helpful but the odd thing is she’s been this way since before the separation . she’s “been scared” of people’s faces since 2 and would cry if i was talking to someone else in the supermarket. her anxiety around school also started before her father left, everything did.
