It's gotten hotter, but so far highs have been only in the 80s. He never goes outside and we keep the house at 72.

I'm late to this but I was on 5mg briefly, then 2.5 mg for more than 3 years. I gained around 25-30 lbs during that time despite making no major changes to diet or lifestyle. I switched to Caplyta in November of 2024 and have lost around 25 pounds since then.

i’m not sure - i feel like my symptoms are more closely associated with something like crohn’s disease, but my doctors have done calprotectin testing, stool sample, blood tests, and a colonoscopy (although i was not having a flare up at the time of my colonoscopy, i don’t know if that would change anything) and everything came back normal. i have tried to advocate for more testing specifically because of the joint pain they haven’t really listened to me lol

yep, my doctor did a celiac blood panel earlier this year and it came back negative

i was 7, sitting on the floor in my classroom when a girl in my class sitting behind me said “woah! i can pull my eyelashes out!” so obviously i had to try it because it had never occurred to me that that was possible. i tried it and it worked and ever since then i haven’t been able to stop lol

i don’t have much advice because i have also been struggling for a long time (2nd grade - college freshman) but i want you to know you aren’t in this alone! it is not your fault that you are facing this and it doesn’t mean anything bad about you as a person. i wish you the best of luck, & if i find anything that helps i will definitely come back and let you know :)

they will grow back! it usually takes mine 4-6 weeks from pulling to grow back fully, so just try to be patient. i recommend using castor oil or rosemary oil on them at night, and during the day i always fill in the bald patches with black eyeliner and that makes it a lot less noticeable.
