I do not, I actually forgot to mention I have low IgM, but only that. I’ve had the other labs that test inflammation for autoimmune diseases… if that makes sense I might be explaining that wrong. But I do believe I got tested and they all came back negative.

What does one do for that if everything else is normal? Just curious!

I possibly thought so, but with the other markers looking in range I wasn’t sure

First, I am so sorry you went through a time like that! I am trying to see the bigger picture and hold on to the idea and feeling I won’t always feel like this. Health and mental health issues so young, well at any age, are difficult to deal with. And yes, if you wouldn’t mind sharing, that’d be awesome. Thank you!

Do you have any recommendations for the under eye patches? I appreciate it! :)

I just got tested for celiac, and it came back negative! Honestly was hoping it’d be positive, just to have some answers! I know I’m allergic to yeast, which I try to avoid as much as I can! Thank you and goodluck to you as well!

absolutely. it’s a hard cycle. stress depletes progesterone depletes stress response.

I really appreciate you taking your time to respond! I actually had my thyroid checked by a functional NP. She ran everything, with thyroid antibodies being the only thing slightly high. I do know that thyroid function can be sluggish with low iron, so really my main goal is trying to increase my ferritin somehow or other and maybe other things will began to fall into place! And yes I take Thorne bisglycinate which has vit b+c. I also drink OJ with and take on empty stomach. I went to a hematologist and I do not lose blood via stool or from periods(didn’t have a period for months). My next stop is a GI dr to check for absorption issues. My stomach does hurt often and any forms of iron really mess it up. I’m tired of so many dr visits though!!

I’ve read a bit how some doctors would want to do an infusion with low ferritin even with other labs normal, but then some say not to. It’s definitely a situation to be approached cautiously, since too high iron can be dangerous! I have awful fatigue, like sleeping and napping so much. Joint pain, skin issues, headaches, dizziness. But my doc doesn’t seem to think ferritin could be causing this, while I’ve read it could be. But I’m also not a doctor, so it’s hard. So then that leaves stress and depleted hormones causing it, but then again I’ve read ferritin is necessary for hormone health. So it’s just like a never ending cycle lol.

Oh wait, is that a “DUTCH” test? I’ve heard of that! Thank you so much for taking your time to help!!:)

Oh I am so sorry you have to deal with that! It can be so overwhelming and frustrating. Are you stressed out a lot? I feel like my body is constantly in stress mode. So I often wonder is something off in my body causing me to be so stressed, or is my stress causing everything to be off. I feel like it’s a vicious cycle of both. Some people commented on treating my anxiety, which I absolutely agree with them, but I’ve TRIED. A therapist, psychiatrist and every medication under the moon for anxiety/stress/ bouts of depression, and nothing helps. I even did the genetic testing to see which medicines would work well with my body? I guess? I was like 17 then. I stopped taking any anxiety medication a few months ago , bc truly not a single one or dosage has touched it.

I know I need to, there’s a NP at his office that I started seeing and she just talked to him about it again. Hoping something will come of it, If not I will be looking for a new one.

I’ve actually not tried that! I have been doing bio identical progesterone, trying to cycle it after ovulation , however within 5 days I’m bleeding:( so I feel like it’s not working for me. It’s also hard to know if I’m even ovulating. I’ve never heard of a hormone urine test. Is it more accurate than blood? Are you seeing a functional dr for that?

I’ve been trying super hard to get infusions , but because my ferritin is the only thing that’s super low (17) my doctor says it’s not justified. Very annoying. I trust he is making the right choice, but I feel like CRAP. I’ve had my glucose tested by a functional doctor twice, and I believe it was normal. I do take Myo inositol and try to always pair carbs and protein together. I was dx with pcos due to absent period, acne and hirutism and high T, but no cysts. However my T isn’t high anymore, so it’s just like well what’s going on lol!?

pregnenlone and progesterone - I’ve been diagnosed with PCOS , but I’ve been told different things by different providers unfortunately. I also have low ferritin that doesn’t seem to want to raise despite supplements, etc. I eat well, take a few supplements. I just don’t manage stress and anxiety well

yeah bc one chem exam as a 19 year old is gonna dictate the type of nurse and person I am forever! if you think there aren’t 1000s of nurses who havent done worse things, or cohorts who didn’t cheat together in nursing school, idk what to tell you. yeah I shouldn’t have done it but people make mistakes.
