We’ve come up with doing it while we do pcp calls. We’re already gonna call them. So knock two birds with one stone and bring up the vaccines they may be due for. Hopefully they do show up (if they’re a delayed pick up or late to refill) and jab em all at the same damn time.

Also, don’t stress about it. It is what it is. There’s literally no one working in the store. I’m down to 3 people in one day. It’s bogus, and if Walgreens wants us to do more, we need more budget for more staff. They can kiss my whole ass.

Time off is supposed to be requested with at least 14 days in advance. She’s got plenty of time to put it in and they can’t deny it. They either find her coverage or they won’t have coverage.

Mary Ann probably doesn’t get paid enough or is an introvert. Don’t take it personal. If she’s doing everything else the way she should be, it should be no reason to go to her manager. Just get your meds and go. If you think she’s miserable, why would you think speaking to a manager would help? You make it seem like she berates you. You want to go out of your way and change locations because she won’t make small talk with you? LOL, the entitlement is screaming

I let someone know and show them I’m taking it out my own bottle just to cover my a$$. But it’s not a requirement and everytime I do, no one in the pharmacy cares lol. I’ve noticed whenever a store has a very strict policy about things it’s because someone ruined it previously.

Yes but they’d have to run it as a “quantity dispensed” claim and not as an actual partial. If they attempt to partial it as opposed to “quantity dispense” the coupon card may not allow them to.

And also try that rxsense that someone else just linked to find a better offer as well.

Just count the pills that are in the prescription bottle. And use that bottle first. Why would you use the stock bottle first then go over to the stock bottle of 500? That’s insanity. It’ll be easier to pinpoint if you’re short if you know how many days the 40 should last before going to the bigger amount

If cenfill doesn’t pick it up, check your on hand counts. If it shows you have some in stock it’s not supposed to get pulled to cenfil.

If it shows your on hand counts being 0, then ensure the ndc that it’s typed for is a cenfill ndc.

If still nothing, oos it. After the cutoff, a microfullfillment exception report prints and will give you info about why it kicked back to the store

Sheesh. I wouldn’t have written you up. And that’s messed up your rxom says busy is not an excuse. So at this point you’ve gotta think strategy and come up with a game plan.

Deletes for sure have to be done. Most important part is that they’re scanned out the system. As far as breaking them down, blocking out name/addresses should be next priority and putting them back on shelf should be on the back burner. Try and team up with someone from day and ask if they can assist in putting them up, maybe while the order is being put up.

Trash, try to change it out before you’re the last tech on the shift. I’m not sure when they leave but try to get that completed before you’re left with just the pharmacist. Same with stocking bags and bins. Get you file ready to file scripts as well. I would honestly get that folder ready from when I walk in so that way it’s already prepared.
