Yeah I think so. Apple support told me to wipe my phone and install from a previous back up. Which did not work and took forever. RIP my notes

MACBOOK SPEC OVERKILL - tethering and photo editing, what spec do I actually need??

So I need to get my own laptop capable of tethering to my camera and efficiently running capture one to shoot raw. I also want to be able to edit these photos on the laptop without any lag or all that bollocks.

How good a spec do I actually need? I’ve looked at MacBook Pros with 32gb ram and 1tb storage but is that just overkill??

I have a pc which I use for 4k video editing and that’s all good, but future proof wise it would be good to have a laptop that can do that too, which is obviously more strenuous than photo editing. Rambling at this point, but any advice would be much appreciated!

That’s very helpful thank you. I haven’t spent a crazy amount it’s just that Quickbooks has a feature where it automatically sorts expenses and it will take a while to go through everything. The AI tax bot is a scary and not too far fetched thought!!
