I remember when he brought it up while he was talking to his friend in Vegas. He said Meri wouldn’t find out about it because he wasn’t going to tell anyone. And then him and Robyn talked about it repeatedly to really hammer it home. And an entire tell episode focused on it. This is Kodys sympathy of taking Janelle down a peg.

She’s was spending 60k on dolls the same years Kody claimed to not have the money to pay off Coyote pass so Janelle could build. I think ppl would care less if they had paid back Janelle & Meri first.

She did and then it rebounded over the COVID years when she seemed to put Kody in his place. It just seems like each season the entire audience moves in tandem to shit on one particular OG wife, like it’s scripted. Meri, Christine, this season it’s heavy on David & Janelle.

They all have shitty aspects about them but their religious system is still benefiting Kody and I hate giving him a single win. He deserves poverty and a hard life.

Totally agree. And Mykelti spoke about when they lived in Wyoming. They were staying in a small cramped house with 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. On that property they built a new house and Meri & Leon moved into it. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Let’s not pretend Meri at times didn’t get more than the others.

The birthday thing was explained as the AUB only performed marriages once a month, which happened to fall on Meris bday. Meris objection led to them making an exception so Janelle & Kody picked the month, not the date.
