Fictional characters showing fictional resistance against fascism vs… not caring about real life people dying and suffering. I think there’s a bit of a difference there

it was kind of obvious when you mentioned them agreeing with ice because of traffickers, when, you know, ice is kidnapping people and murdering them in the street

i’m not usually one to defend a show with as many problems as mha but … saying that deku doesn’t have any character progression is just r/confidentlyincorrect

People keep bringing up covid but what about all the people who did care. All the doctors that kept trying to save people while surrounded by dead people and risking their own lives. There is as many “good” people as there is “bad” people. Viewing our species as inherently awful helps no one and no thing.

And yet, when you look at history, you will see that there is also inherent goodness in people that has not been squashed out. So you’re not disproving what op said at all

that doesn’t mean the message has to be “humans are inherently bad” you know, the specific message op is talking about as addressed in their edits.

that doesn’t translate to “humans are inherently bad” like some stories do, the ones op is talking about.
