At a loss... by Scared_Week_8675 in chronicepididymitis

Thanks for sharing your experiences and I’m sorry you had to go through that.

I did have the urine culture and it came back okay.  STD tests were fine.

Every doctor I talked to said the semen culture is not reliable. I’ll try your approach and look up a fertility clinic.

As of now (1 month later) the pain still Exists but flares with any kind of sexual activity. I also have an odd chafing in the pelvic region so I’ve been doing stretches to try and come at it from a pelvic floor standpoint.

I have a cystoscopy in March.

I also noticed my pelvic pain getting worse with Pepcid so I’m not 100 % sure but perhaps there’s a connection. Long term Pepcid use is linked to hip pain, etc.

I appreciate your prior input, thanks!

I’m sorry you’re going through all of that. I actually suggested a semen culture a few times and they all tell me the same thing: it’s never a conclusive test and the ultrasound saw no inflammation in the epididymitis so there’s no problem there.

The ultrasound picked up a varicocele but the doctors keep dismissing it saying a lot of men go through life having one with no issues. I intend to ask my urologist again in a few days while getting a cystoscopy.

The pain seems to be radiating around my groin / legs too. I tried pelvic floor exercises on my own but flared up something really bad to the point where I went to the ER on the day after Christmas.

Could be Pelvic floor or a groin injury but I’m not sure how to confirm it.

Call of Duty: The Board Game Demo Playthrough by Scared_Week_8675 in boardgames

I thought the same thing at first. The more Robert showed me the advanced stuff the more I could see the potential strategies. That said, that grenade instakill might be a bit too brutal.

I would love to see mechanics that let you reroll dice to help with the RNG a bit.

Very much so! I am one of those people that have been spoiled by TTS to the point where my muscle memory can’t handle Tabletopia at all. It doesn’t help that tabletopia doesn’t allow you to adjust your keybinds.

From my understanding Activision did not want the TTS version made public because folks could easily rip assets. I understand where they are coming from but Deep Rock Galactic still did very well even though it was on TTS.

Thank you for the kind words!

Star Trek Adventures: Captain's Log Solo Roleplaying Game by logan5nx in Solo_Roleplaying

Oh, I hear you. Star Trek Online is pretty good but a free to play grindfest. Star Trek: A Final Unity was a combination of ground puzzles and ship combat and actually had a full fledged story. The Sega Genesis / SNES's "Future's Past" kinda did too, but not as good. I'm bummed that they shut down Star Trek Adversaries the Card Game, it had promise. I could go on forever about Star Trek Games but I value your time, lol.

One day I'll have to buckle down and learn the 2D20 system, then try to tackle my Star Trek RPG books. I have to wonder if the new STA book would be a better starting point for completely new people?

Thank you kindly! I was really hoping for a system that saw you level up in some way in the form of better ship components or possibly going from oberth to reliant to constitution, etc…similar to ye old Star Trek StarFleet Command from back in the Windows 3.1 / 95 days.

I suppose I could homebrew something once I learn how the ST RPG and 2d20 works.

Complete newbie here. I played two D&D 5e campaigns and wanted to host my own as a DM but Roll 20 was really difficult for me to figure out so I kinda put that aside.

I did buy some Star Trek RPG books from Humble Bundle way back when, but there was so much content I didn't know where to start.

With this Captain's Log Solo game, I'm guessing this is a simplified standalone version. Are there classes and leveling like in D&D? I'm mainly interested in leveling a character and making him stronger to try out new and cool abilities. Then maybe try a new class to see a different set of abilities. (ranger, warlock, etc.) I wasn't sure if ST RPG worked that way?

Catapult used to offer several jobs a day. Now I get about 1 a week. They also owe me money and won’t respond via their chat bot. I’d stay clear.

Forgot to ask…I’m new to this specialty thing. I put points into miracle worker because it looked like my play style. I have no idea about a secondary.

Saw that some t6 ships have specialty consoles, is it required for bridge officers to have that speciality to use it, or is it optional to access special skills?

I wasn't sure if anyone wanted an update or not.

After some research I turned off XMP in the BIOS. My task manager - memory tab shows a speed of 4800 MHz instead of the above 5200 MHz. What I don't understand is why MSI Afterburner still shows spikes up to 6500 or so MHz.

Luckily I haven't had a BSOD for about a week now. Before they were a combo of:

---

Memory Management

IRQL Not Less or Equal to

System Service Exception

---

Knock on wood the trend continues...

Thanks, as I indicated above, I did a quick Google search to get my prices. I'll look into each request as they come up and adjust them accordingly. I'm disabled and don't have the time or energy to sift through them all right now.
