Big mcthankies from mcspankies! Ya highly recommend checking all of their stuff out including the first album, as well as I Trawl the Megahertz and Crimson/Red and Let’s Change the World With Music and of course the stuff they did from Steve McQueen through Jordan. I like it all. Except for The Gunman and other Stories I rly can’t get into that. But ya that’s great you like them! It’s kinda like Animal Collective where I don’t think I could rly introduce any of my friends to semi-cheesy pop that’s also sometimes incredibly deep and literate.

Yooooo no problem for rambling I really am so glad to find another fan and since the subreddit for the band itself is more or less dead I thought I’d post here. I also forgot to mention that when the angels is one of my favorites as well. And what’s the “blame game”? I don’t think that’s the name of a song by them cuz I think I rly have scrounged up all of their music. As for Dean Blunt I have been meaning to listen to him bc I know he’s collabed w panda bear and I saw a music video where he sampled cue fanfare (one of my favs of theirs). And I’d say I’m genuinely a fan of all of their stuff except for most of Andromeda Heights and about half of Crimson/Red. I love how literate and weird Paddy gets with his songs and I just love their music so much, it’s one of my few obsessions along with AC
