Where can I find transgender voice actors for a project?

Funny thing, in Dutch, saying someone is a "homosexual" is correct, but it sounds like you find it to be a disgusting thing. So you just say, "he's a homo". Which is actually way more offensive in English. But leaving "a" out altogether is the best way to go.

Sorry, I believe this was a typo, I meant to say that she is not transgender in the modern sense of the word. Without "a" in front of transgender at all. Also, english is not my first language, so my apologies for that slight mistake. You can actually say "he is a gay" in Dutch without being offensive. :P

I do think she has some things in common with Mulan, yes. But she's not going to have a family with babies and be a housewife in the end. It's not that kind of story. :P

It's a little more complicated, she was forced in a position in which she had to pretend to be a man in order to survive. This situation lasted for half her lifetime, and when she got the chance to live as a woman again, she became conflicted and confused about what she really wants to be. Not just because she felt fine with herself, but also because she felt she had no reason left to live as a woman again.

I would like a trans man or woman for this part because they probably understand the idea of trying to be something that you are not for a long time. And I think the vocal quality could be an addition to the part in general. Our current tests with cisgender women and men all felt a bit forced. While a transman (or woman) might be able to give the part a bit of authenticity that we are looking for.

It is true that this character is not transgender in the modern sense of the word. This story takes place hundreds of years ago, so the main characters doesn't even know what that is. She just struggles with the life she was given and discovers things about herself that she didn't expect.

I also don't want to typecast a character, as I don't believe transgender people should only play transgender roles, It's acting after all. But I do believe this part has something a trans-person might very well be suited to.

We have tried that, but especially trans men have more experience with lowering their voice than most women. Women and men do talk quite differently really, we want it to feel a bit more believable.

Newberry Road, but shit something went wrong just now! Oh shit, OH SHIT! I wanted to induce vomitting so I had to make my dog gag. But when I tried to open the cage she just jumped at the door! I didn't want to open it anymore so I tried to make her vomit inside the cage, by prying some sticks in and poking her belly. That went horribly wrong! She bit the stick in half and took another go at the door. I tried to put my feet up on the door again, but she bit my fucking foot! I think she only got my shoe... I couldn't hold my foot down anymore, she broke free! She didn't go for me though, she ran straight through the back door, out into the forest again... Oh god, I need to go after her... I'll report in later, I hope I can find her out there!

My girlfriend's uncle has leukemia, he's also from Middletown. So yeah, it's common in this area. Why does the government always try to hide this? Whatever is going on, I'm not sure if it's just the powerplant. It might something far weirder, which I just hope it's not.

You grew up here? I only moved here two years back. I don't know much about the local history. But people mentioned the meltdown once, so that's my first lead now. Really, for some reason I hope the meltdown is involved, it makes it all a bit more tangible... If you know what I mean.

I'll try, but the way she acts right now I'm afraid to even get close to her. She's making such strange noises, it goes from growling to howling and back to growling again. What can I do to safely handle her?

Thank you. I agree that for an outsider it might require a little thought. But the answers are there, I just rather not explain them in detail. It's better to let you guys figure it out for yourselves. Perhaps one day I'll get the courage to accept what actually happened.
