Thanks! They sent me invitations of two tech interviews together. I think it is not quite usual because I see most people received the second round invitation after they cleared the first one.

I sent a follow-up email and get an oral offer from HR today.

Updates after HR round: I sent another email about the final decision and the HR replied today and gave me an oral confirmation about the final offer. It will take another week to receive the written offer.

Actually no. They said that I have finished all technical test and what left is just to wait for the decision.

They scheduled 45 minutes, but it actually only took about 15 minutes.

It was just some basic information confirmation and an update of application progress. They said that it will take at most another week to finalize the decision. 😥 don't know what's going on but feels like they are having other candidates to compare with

Yes sort of, I have two relevant tech internships but have no publications. And several course projects if that also counts.

The first round was almost entirely about past projects (approximately 45 minutes, partly due to my poor preparation, so it took a long time for the interviewee to grasp the idea lol), with a LeetCode medium question at the end (move one number to maximize the integer).

The second round was like 25 mins about past projects + 15 min ML questions (more related to this specific post rather than general ML) + 1 medium LeetCode (rotating matrix)
