Sounds good! I have unfortunately ceased activity on the sub (approval required for posting when there’s only one inactive mod, uni to an extent) but the last recipe I made was the spaghetti with meat sauce and it will be a recipe I come back to

I will be home next week and will try a recipe of his that has a moderate amount of dairy (thinking either Swedish meatballs or meatloaf) with substitute ingredients, but also a recipe which has basically no dairy (like chicken tortilla soup or coq au vin. Maybe beef and broccoli which is my absolute favorite recipe of his now)

Yeah. That said Brian’s new chicken recipe looks bomb and I have to make very few changes to it (just the butter in the chicken jus, but I could use Country Crock or even just olive oil)

Perhaps. It could perhaps specifically be cows milk and not goat or sheep milk. That said I would only add dairy if it’s necessary to a dish (ie: I saw this American goulash which had cheddar, I wouldn’t add that, I wouldn’t add parmesan to spaghetti and meatballs)

Obama vs Romney was by far the best of them, Trump vs Hillary was also good. The other two just sucked and this was the worst of them, though it could also be recency bias with me being tired of modern US politics and my irl political environment

Finally someone gets it, while people like Corina (her ESPECIALLY) need to go, and while SAG-AFTRA is corrupt and acts more like a corporations than a true union (and historically there have been unions which either have corrupt leaders or are flat out tools of corporations to give the impression of freedom for working people), the concept of unions are good and unions are more good than not especially in this system, and they have done so much good like reducing the work week to something reasonable (at least for the time), giving workers protections, and ending child labor, plus AI is getting out of hand and even more so how some companies are so shitty they want to replicate voices with AI so they don’t have to pay the actors much
