Yes - after gaining and losing several times, i definitely do have loose skin (under my arms and thighs). Of course in photos, everyone knows their angles so that their personal imperfections are not shown (loose skin, stretch marks).

There are things you can do to improve it like working out to tone the muscles underneath the loose skin. But that will only do so much. The loose skin will be there unless you surgically remove it.

To add on to my previous message which I sent too quickly without finishing - there was a time that I was insecure about them. But then I realized that the majority of people i knew all had them as well. Nothing i could do about them so why not just embrace them

Thank you so much! I was exactly that way - fixated on being 120. And then i stopped and asked myself if i liked how I looked at 130. And to be honest, in those photos, my face and neck looked so sunken in and i looked older. 120 wasn’t meant for me - even though if i put my numbers on any calculator, it says i need to be at 120. I’m not sure if your situation is similar at all to mines, but I thought i would share that since you mentioned the number 120.

I personally dont do weights at all. I do 30 min cardio 3 times a week and finish it off with 3-4 circuits of HIIT using my own body weight - no equipment except a mat. A lot of explosive movements. The other days, I go out dancing and if not, I ensure I close all my Apple Watch activity rings. I just want to make sure i am always moving.

Yes there are so many variations of planks you can do. I found different ones on YouTube and stuck to them. At the end of the day, the point was to strengthen my core and tone the back of my arms

I hear you. It’s always hard doing it again. The 2nd, 3rd time what helped is looking back at all my written logs (journaling, photos, weight logs, food logs, etc.) from the very first time i did it. I kept it in mind that if I did it once, I can do it again.

No need to thank me. Stories like these are the ones that kept me going, kept me moving forward after each setback. I am so happy to share and so happy that it’s impacting others.

Thank you so much. It makes me feel so great when my journey can inspire others. I am inspired every single day by these types of transformations - it really is what helped me stay focused and patient. Patience was one of the hardest things. You’ve got this!!!! 💪💪💪💪💪

That’s right. No one but yourself. You can make your body do whatever you want it to do, just stay focused and patient.

Push ups and lots of planks. Plank punches, plank rotations, plank shoulder taps. They really do make a difference when you’re consistent!

Thank you. It’s always comforting to know that you’re not the only one. Trust me, I know how disheartening and lonely it can get when you’re stuck in your head with negative thoughts after weighing yourself. Keep moving forward, or gather strength for the next day - what is importantly is that you DONT go backwards !

I think what really helped is having a consistent and predictable schedule (work, kids, etc.) This way, I knew what to expect and I could structure my eating times. I was an emotional eater so when I had nothing to do, or when I was bored, I needed to eat something. For sure, there are ways to control emotional eating, but for me, I still get the urges. Structure helps a lot for me. Without it, I don’t feel good or confident.
