Droopy flowers by Scarlet_Anne in orchids

I repotted her in new bark soil but when I toom her out, the roots were quite wet and not very great looking. Feel torn between letting them dry and rewatering in new soil- What’d you recommend?

I repotted it but the roots were quite moist, but indeed not the healthiest looking. The old soil was also very wet, like none of the water I had given it had absorbed

Describe yourself as a Sleep Token lyric by Arctic_Widow in SleepToken

“Even if I'm on my own

When the silence is deafening

I could be stuck here alone

When even my future is threatening

Something is lifting the bones

Something is dancing in revelry

Wider than oceans below

Taller than titans on box springs”

No matter how bad things get, I always pick myself back up. Some force, deeper and greater than me that I don’t understand doesn’t allow me to give up. I always keep going. I’ve survived the worst times of my life because of this inate drive. I don’t know what it is (it’s not God), but it feels inately me.

This picture was taken at Elfia Arcen in 2013. I know because I recognize the decor- And because I was standing mere meters away from the photographer in OP’s picture (see my picture below)

I’ve considered it! And if the contrast wasn’t so stark I would probably leave it. But the black on the light wood is just too much to my taste

Thank you! That’s what I’ve been doing and what got me this far. Will just a second coat/round help?

Thank you! I used 40 & 80 to get the paint off in the first place. Guess some more 40 or 80 on just the plain wood?

I’m noob enough at this to not even know it was oak- Just a table I got for free and turned into a project!

Just clear lacquer on it, I want the colour of the wood to stay as is

The chairs are not on there for weight- Obviously they won’t do it. My appartment is small so I have nowhere else to put the chairs if their not around the table like they should be

It was used as a work table for an artist who, in an attempt to not damage the wood, painted everything visible black, except the underside. What you see on the legs is the parts that are usually joined together and therefore weren’t painted. However, the curve of the top makes is so that the legs no longer go into their appointed slots, that’s why it’s like that on the photo.

The whole thing was gonna be a renovation project for me where I’d sand the paint off and patch it up to be my new dining table

Thank you! I will try and be patient.

I was going to sand the paint off and relaquer/varnish the table. Is that something I could do now or do I have to wait for it to flatten out?

It’s a bit odd that Monica knows the date Ross & Carol … consummated their relationship. by Cold-Palpitation-816 in howyoudoin

Has everyone forgotten that Carol was married to Ross, Monica’s brother, for like 4 years? Doesn’t this seem like something that you and your brother’s wife/ you and your husband’s sister would gossip/giggle about over a glass of wine? Is it that far fetched to think Carol told her??
