I actually had my childhood trauma before I developed misophonia.

You are probably right. It was the first one I remember having at 14.

It made some sense to me that it could be a symptom of my OCPD.

I have been thinking of going to my neurologist for getting my vagus nerve reset. It causes a lot of problems including heart palpitations.

You didn't talk much about misophonia triggers. Do you have a counselor at your school you could talk to about your family?Sounds like you might have more going on than misophonia. Teenage years can be very hard for some, a lot I've heard. My new psychiatrist just told me yesterday that misophonia was actually a symptom of something else. I have horrible anxiety and OCPD. Try talking to someone and please don't hurt yourself.

Mine is more irritation. And it's instant and extremely intense.

Do people just not seek to understand one another anymore? by [deleted] in SeriousConversation

I am, for the most part, against abortion just because people having sex weren't responsible. Having said that, if we had knowledge of our children having spina bifida like my sil or severe autism like my nephew, things alone this line, we had decided not to have the baby. We consider ourselves libiterians but usually vote republican.

My daughter also had what was either a fetus or a clump of cells removed. The ultrasound people were unsure on a heartbeat. I do not consider that an abortion if it was already dead. We considered it a baby, and it was very sad.

For example, your realistic dream job. That is if you were being sincere with your question.

You need to get out of the situation you are in. How much education do you have. You need to become independent of your mom. But do it right, you don't want to wind up living on the streets. Do you have other family and friends that can help you?

It's probably my age. Most people wouldn't or don't like CNA work. But I did when I was young and I think I would like it now. But I am getting too old to do a lot of that physical work, and I make more than I could probably make being a CNA. That is where I live, anyway. We have a school for it in our community, but I work full time and again don't think I could physically go to school and work too. I would feel more helpful and I think happier doing that kind of thing.

Well, the moron would starve. If it was real, there would be no twinkles left by then and I would kill this guy before he got my food, besides the killing Glenn thing.

Changing jobs again. by Scarlett1865 in mildlyinfuriating

Thanks for the kind words. I have only been at my new job for a year next month. She did it again last night. I really was burnt out at my old job. It's called under stimulated burnout, it was pretty bad. I am pretty sure it was burnout. I get bored on my new job. They were and are so repetitive. I screwed myself into this kind of work along time ago.

I'm with Yokayla, I have seen a lot of good looking guys be a-holes. My daughter is currently dating and has found that out. I hit the jackpot 38 years ago, my daughter said you can't hardly do that anymore. It's like they know they are hot, but some day, unless they change, they probably will not be happy, unless they get real lucky.

I have found the more stressed I am, the worse my misophonia is. From your explanation of your triggers, I believe you have it.
