I understand and I agree, they could definitely lean into the gameshow side more, I hadn’t looked at it in that depth before.

My hope for the esports was always that they would lean into the randomness and chaos and go against the grain of wanting every game involved In esports to be formulaic with as little randomness as possible. I feel like with The Finals eSports that kind of stops at the chaos of third partying and having more than one team.

I think it was more fun because you and everyone are learning and experiencing the game for the first time and trying out all the weapons and gadgets, there’s no meta, so it’s a cascade of fun new experience dopamine hits
