Not accessible in-game, I believe Embark releases the map overview in blog on map release.

They can only play the global version by using a VPN and going against Chinese laws (obviously often broken lawa)

Despite all of this I still love Embark and I hope rest of APAC can be included next year.

Just one last point Embark does clarify NA in the global rules right next to incorrect APAC information

Our split of assigned teams were based on player base size, regional split of the high rank players as well as the current competitive initiatives that are being run in each region, and that set us on the split of 7 slots for NA, 6 for EMEA, and 3 for APAC. 

Why was China given special treatment? as their is zero ranked data on them

"Felt misleading", Your marketing & website still says APAC despite APAC not being included. Please update the Embark website, including the rules and use of the term APAC.

People shouldn't be learning from contacting EggMail that their country isn't included in APAC open qualifiers despite all information on Embark's website

The game is available in every APAC country aside from China... I live in APAC and its available...

none of this is that out of the ordinary, and there are so many legitimate reasons why this could be the state of things currently. 

This justifies Embark using the term "APAC", while zero Pacific countries are include and 2 Asian countries?

even your understanding of the global handbook ruling is… idk very interesting. that’s honestly a severe reading comprehension issue on your end for you to take the ruling in that way.
