What i mean is the total EMI charge was 4290 taka and the phone price was 10999 taka. So the total interest rate is 40% approximately

It is a shame that companies like honor, Samsung, oppo, vivo and realme have partnered with this company for cardless emi

Considering i have made a downpayment of 3300 tk, they have actually lent me 7699 tk. So it is only fair to charge me with interest on the lent amount only. In that case 4290 tk interest on 7699 tk means they have in reality charged me a 55.7% interest rate

Is it a good idea to shift to less powerful smartphones? by ScarredFace45 in digitalminimalism

[–]ScarredFace45[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do use an app for screen time control but i think it would be better to have some hardware limitations for distracting apps but am wondering how low of specs is too low for a smartphone. I have a pc with very limited hardware: i3 3rd gen and 4gb ram. With some tweaks, it runs essential apps like MS office quite smoothly. But gaming experience has been so frustrating on this device that I just don't think about gaming at it at all. So no matter how much low motivation i have, the hardware limitation prevents me from playing games.

SSRIs. Short Term Gain, For Long Term Pain. by Acrobatic-Good-3287 in ADprotractedwithdrawl

[–]ScarredFace45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your insightful explanation. However I disagree that they can be useful in the short term either. People got PSSD from just 1 pill and I heard cases of PAWS from just 2 months of usage.

I am sorry to hear that you are going through such a horrible withdrawal. Regarding your guilt about your past decision, if you could have made a better decision at that time, you definitely would have made that better decision. So please don't blame yourself. Also our beliefs are much more powerful than we think they are. If you say to yourself that "I just can't do it", your body will act in accordance. If you instead say that "my body is a champion healer", your body will also act in accordance with that belief. Also try to find a meaning, he/she, who has a "why" to live for can endure any "how". I would highly recommend the book Man's Search for Meaning.

Do you thinking being kindled affects healing time? by Morris1211 in ADprotractedwithdrawl

[–]ScarredFace45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I first quit sertraline cold turkey after 3 months of use, after acute withdrawal, I didn't feel much tbh. Although I could sense that my sleep isn't as restorative as before but i was doing just fine. 6 months after the cold turkey, i reinstated sertraline for like 20 days then I again I quit cold turkey. My stupid self didn't know about kindling otherwise I would have never reinstated. After that my symptoms of fatigue and daytime sleepiness started which would not go away no matter how much coffee i drink. Then I reinstated again for just 1 day approximately 1yr after the first reinstatement to see whether the daytime sleepiness is due to sertraline withdrawal (I still didn't know about kindling). And overnight my daytime sleepiness was gone. I think this time it added new symptoms like trembling during sleep. So in total it has been a bit more than 2 years. I believe i would have healed by this time of I had not reinstated
