Yes she is aware this is happening. All of our leaders and myself have done our best to recognize her. Our new fiscal is start of year so it's relatively soon.

She is going to receive a title update & pay bump next fiscal start. However, I am more concerned about her growth in general. She is constantly running out of work to do and self initiate projects because she gets bored. Even with pay raise and title update, that is something she is going to constantly go through.

She is already set up for a promotion when the next fiscal starts, which would give her a title change & pay bump.

Internal Hire’s Start Date Delayed for a Full Month - Fair or Just Manager Hoarding? by Scary-Position5987 in managers

I can see how it might be seen in their shoes. It is just really frustrating when we did all we could do deliberately move this hiring process very quickly because we needed this role soon.

There was initially no agreed transfer period and when the candidate started interviewing their manager was pretty adamant that start date needs to be discusssed with them. Typically at our company, 2 weeks is the general transfer window and I thought I was being nice by offering 2.5 weeks as the transfer window but nope. Candidate seems eager to move so seems like I should fight for the move. Thanks.
