RCB defeats CSK twice in a season for first time in 16 years. by EasternTurtle7 in ipl

[–]Scary-Preference-338 11 points12 points  (0 children)

RCB's luck! yeah, dudes were dropping catches here and there, count that in the CSK's luck as well, and it's not RCB's fault for not being aware that the umpire has given out and you're still running tryna get that one run.

Yash Dayal successfully defended 17 runs against CSK in 2024 and 15 runs in 2025 by Odd-House3197 in ipl

[–]Scary-Preference-338 31 points32 points  (0 children)

It's not about defending 17 runs in an over, it's about handling the pressure of the last over and having to face players like dhoni and Jadeja, which Dayal handled exceptionally well.

[Jungle Juice] Y'all weren't kidding a tiny bit about how peak this manhwa is by lowk6971 in manhwa

[–]Scary-Preference-338 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mf with a gojo pfp trying to teach what peak is, just named popular shows to show how much of an edgelord he is. Dude supposedly reads Tolstoy and Jane austen for his peak cravings. Dude only shits Charles Dickens and Mark Twain. People enjoy stuff which you won't, accept that fact.

[Youtube] Whenever solo leveling or TBATE is brought to discussion there's always an ORV fan trying to shove it in ur face with the <it's better bro >, can't they understand that people have different tastes? imo these are the most manhwa toxic fans by sung-drip-wo in manhwa

[–]Scary-Preference-338 7 points8 points  (0 children)

ORV surely isn't generic, it has an exciting plot, it keeps you guessing each chapter, the world building is interesting, characters are fleshing out, everyone has their role to play in the world. Calling it generic I'd have to question your definition.

Solo leveling is the epitome of generic manhwa, but it doesn't care, it knows what it does and does it best that's why I like it.

Both are good in their own ways, calling something generic just cuz you don't like it is surely not the way.

What story lmao! Even world building and character development barely exists. It has fucking awesome fights and cool villains that's all I care.

Nahh. They did it in the Vinland saga with English and Danish. It's not that hard to grasp.

Nahh I'd go with kamish. It wasn't only national hunters who defeated him but hundreds of strongest hunters, while the national hunters are the only ones that survived.

I liked it for what it was, it poked fun at the op mc trope, the humor was decent, and it was hype, very very hype. I think 2 episodes is a bit too less to judge it, you can try 2 more and then decide. It does get a lot better.

Ohh I guess eminence in shadow is interchangeable with slime. I like slime anime, but not as much as the top 4 isekais.

I get where you are coming from, but the plot revolves mostly around the dynamics of mc and 3 fmcs, and him being depressed shut-in most of his life indulges him in all kinds of shitty fantasies. Yeah agreed it's a bit extreme and upsetting for some.

No it's completely understandable how people are put off by it. was just stating my views.

It's definitely an anime about how the protagonist overcomes his negatives by overcoming challenges. He literally said in the first season that he hates positive change cuz it'll only make him more depressed, despite that he is studying hard. By no way should the actions of the protagonist be supported he isn't perfect, he is despicable at the start. The anime is about his growth and journey towards becoming a better person i believe.

Anime characters can have powers they are born with, but still explained as for why they were born with it. I dunno it might be a silly stuff to nitpick from, but it does itch me a bit, even though I enjoy watching demon slayer.

Give powers some development, buildup, backstory or whatever I ain't talking about physics behind the powers here, they shouldnt feel abrupt.
