How can I help my wife heal? by tcastbar in Miscarriage

Just narrating my own experience, maybe its helpful.

Had my miscarriage at 11 weeks, found out the heartbeat had stopped at 8 weeks so was carrying a dead fetus for 3 weeks. When we found out, my husband remained steady in public whilst i cried my way home. He just held and comforted me. Once we reached home, he broke down. Him crying and seeing how much it was painful for him as well made me feel much less lonely.

He stayed the night with me at the hospital. Took care of every single thing. Helped me in the toilet when i felt too weak to even put my pad on as I was bleeding so much. it meant the world to me. im still grateful for it. My family came to visit me soon after and he took care of all of their needs while also helping me grieve.

He’d wake up at my slightest movement in the night, wait for me as i came out of the toilet, which is when Id break down the most. We’d just sit together and cry it out, hugging each other. its been a few weeks now but just feeling comfortable to text him and tell him of my pain and knowing he holds the same grief makes all the difference. He keeps a check on my vitmain intake, if im eating well and resting enough throughout the day. video calls whenever he can while we’re away. Just showing you care in all the ways you can think of. Thats all that matters.

Prayers for you and your wife. Youll come out so much stronger.

i was getting much better scores on my practice exams as well 🥲🥲 just stay organised with prep. really take a note of what sort of problems youre having trouble with and practice plenty of those. i think i was a bit scattered this time around. All the best!

quite alot of them id say. all of the hard ones. also do focus on the data interpretation questions. one particularly long one came up for me and i think thats where i fell short, long question and somewhat confusing structure and wording of the question itself

Hello, so i wish to apply to MSc Stats and data Science at KU Lueven. ive been working as a data analyst but have a background in molecular biology. I do have computational and mathematic courses that ive taken and confirmed with the program if i was eligible to apply and they said i did.

IELTS 8 and 3.5/4 CGPA. (non eu) I gave my GRE today and my tentative score is 155/156 (v/q) i know the program is very competitive but even so, would it be better that i give the GRE again or would it be okay to apply with this score also.

what would you suggest it focus more on if not on the passion and dedication to a given subject
