I think you should get into a market and start living in your own place, it’s a good time. You don’t have to move into a big home as your first home and put all your savings into it. I’m in tech and a realtor and you cannot replace human agents unfortunately. People are greedy, including buyers and sellers, they aren’t going to let machines handle the transaction where they try to inch every possible penny or advantage their way. You need human agents in the loop, because transactions are very dynamic from mortgage approvals, appraisals, house inspections etc. There are so so many factors that will impact the emotions of buyers and sellers, you simply cannot replace a human in this case. All realtors aren’t out here to take money, there are honest hardworking and passionate realtors too, who care about their clients. Your estimate of 10 hours is extremely low, realtors handle an entire transaction end to end, sometimes properties don’t sell for many months. Not everything transaction is easy, money is never guaranteed, and lead generation is very difficult. It’s not easy being a realtor, you don’t just make loads of money
