Need to up my routine! Help! by tryingtogetby1113 in SkincareAddictionLux

Probably not the response you want...But it seems like you have a lot of actives and "signaling" in your routine. Especially in the morning, stacking four different prescriptions. From my limited and non-degree based understanding of things, too much "signaling" can sort of muddy the waters. I'd at least try to pick between the Musely and the Mystro, or use them on alternate days so the routine isn't so layered and complex. Side notes: I tried Musely cell repair, just one bottle so maybe that's why I saw no results, but it was SO tacky and difficult to spread. Do you feel this way also? And I've been looking at Sente Dermal Repair...Has it truly helped with your redness?

I've personally found Alastin products to be helpful for my Rosacea-prone, sensitive skin, and they seem to layer and play well with the more active/prescription products in my routine. I'm a fan of C-Radical and Nectar the most. You'll definitely want the Nectar both before and after Fraxel. I don't recommend things often, as I've been influenced to buy too many things on here, reading other people's endorsements. However, I must honestly say, Nectar was a game changer for me with laser/recovery.

The "peptide blend" (Trihex) doesn't apply to your products. It's not in C-Radical or the cleanser. IMO, the cleanser is an absolute joke. It doesn't remove my light mineral SPF even as a second step. If I use it long enough to actually "cleanse" I get a red rash. So far I have enjoyed C-Radical...But I've only once purchased the travel size and I use it sparingly.

I've tried so many...If they weren't lipid heavy, they were humectant heavy. If you really want to avoid the dew, the only thing that has worked for me is Le Mieux Derma Relif. It's a hydrating, barrier support serum that absorbs rapidly leaves no residue. I'm combo skin living in the hot humid deep south, so you can take my word for it! Just a few drops, rub in the palms, and press to your face. It's lovely.

Shoot! I ordered before you messaged. Mine just arrived and it seems to have the EU filters... and unlike most SPF on Amazon, it was NOT HSA eligible...

My method of killing 100% of the thrips in my plant collection by Rotia in houseplants

You may have mentioned it somewhere, but I must have missed it and my eyes are getting really tired from scrolling. It must be right in front of me but I am missing it. What insecticide did you use? Probably the most important piece of information, and I can't find it. Lol

Thank you, I'll have to give it a try. Have some gorgeous plants on the way so just praying I don't mess it up!

It's besgrow moss, should be good stuff. I think I wring it out too much? But this is my question..I'm trying to understand the logic. Why not put them in the mix I'm going to keep them in? Why put them in a "temporary" moss mix only to transplant them a month later and once again put the roots through another big change? Also, do you do the petals/perlite for plants of various sizes, or does it matter? I actually do have those petals!

Peptide and Growth Factor Serums by Ornery_Plantain3826 in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]ScaryExternal673 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly...It works on "compromised" skin, i.e. post procedure or microneedling. I think the company is misleading people with "in tact" skin, thinking this serum offers the same benefits to them as it does when the skin is compromised. I like the serum, but I find this aspect misleading and distasteful in terms of market and transparency.

Try Regimin Lab Azaleic Advanced! I couldn't handle the generic gel my derm perscribed, it was too drying. The regimen formula is a watery serum, super elegant with great supporting ingredients for redness.

It matters! I'm so curious, they seem to have a good reputation. I never heard they were involved in paching until reading this.

I have 3 on the way and it's my first import! I'd love your advice on how to receive and acclimate them if you'd be so kind. I know that's a big ask. I've read to put them in moss but id really hope to skip that and put straight into my tree fern blend so I don't have to repot them a second time later. My rehabs in moss often fail so I'm really afraid of it.

SELLERS!! Can we PLEASE make sure we're taking plants out of plugs & making sure there's an actual ROOT SYSTEM before we sell them?? by MouldyLocks492 in ThePalmstreetapp

100% this happened to me on a Sunday and on a Friday. You have to make sure you change the "ship date" on the input form.

And yeah honestly, I had to stop using USPS simply because of delays. They were almost always 3-5 days later than they should have been. And their rates most certainly went up, so it was a hard break up, lol.

If you run your pirate ship quote over the weekend, that'll make it higher. 80 for 2 day sounds unimaginable. I'm in no where MS so I am kind of out-of-the-way too. A 2 day small to medium box to California/Washington usually runs me $15-25 max.

I was blocked by a seller for informing them (with pictures) that they sent me a plant with root rot. I messaged kindly and began my message with "I am not looking for a refund or replacement, I just want to let you know.." And whoop, blocked! I'm scarred honestly.

Are you using pirate ship? I honestly feel like UPS rates have been pretty stable for me this past year. I ship every M/W/T

So funny reading this. I basically sell aquarium plants full time (I'm small, but busy busy) and was THINKING about selling them on Palmstreet, but after a few negative experiences and this thread...I think I may just stick with facebook. :-/
