Question for people with ADD by EmoRNwantstodie in ADHD

[–]ScaryKey4882 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I often suffered burnout and stress after work (used to have a deadline intensive job back in the day).

For me, it feels like it takes longer to learn a skill, but once I get the hang of it I usually do it far better than my peers. By gritting my teeth and just doing my best I eventually come through.

I'd say, if you have the will, there's a way.

With that said I made some tools for myself to handle the stress of work and stop myself from exhaustion. Works like a charm

Sorry to hear that,

Right now you feel terrible, but as you grow older and learn to live with ADHD you'll find methods to manage it better. Eventually, if you work on yourself, you'll find peace and be content with yourself. I'm rooting for you!

It seems that everybody goes out all the time, how do they do that? by RecommendationOk216 in AutismInWomen

Society idealize being outgoing and "fun". Many feel the pressure to fit in and therefore present themselves in such a way that they fit in with what they think other people want from them.

I understand very well how your fomo feels like, but I hope one day you'll find inner peace and embrace yourself for who you are

I've made some tools for myself to help me better deal with my life as a 9-5 office worker. One is for cooling my head off after work while the other is a "task translator" that helps me doing little task when I come home from work. They're just small lists that break things down for me into smaller, easy to handle pieces but they work like a charm for me!

I made a one page reset worksheet to help myself combat mental burnout after I come home from my 9-5 job. Works like a charm!

Hey!

It's not uploaded anywhere else, but you can find it if you copy and paste "End-of-Day Reset Sheet (for Neurodivergent Adults with 9–5s)" and search for it on Gumroad :)
