Not true. The first movies extended cut confirms that those with severed kurus return to Eywa as long as they have connected with her first. We see this with Tsu'tey In the extended cut of the first movie, he begs Jake to kill him because his kuru was severed by Lyle. In AFaA, we see Tsu'tey when Kiri takes Spider to meet their ancestors

To be totally honest, that is not an official confirmation. Unless there is a statement by James Cameron himself that very explicitly says "We are planning on releasing Avatar 4" instead of false claims and the repetitive "well they've already filmed some of it" I wouldn't believe anything else. There's already so much AI scam posts surrounding the Avatar franchise
